Politicians love blaming society's ills on 'murder simulators'. It draws attention away from their own incompetence.

If a person's mental growth was really negatively affected by video games, then our nation would now be a hell-on-earth of amoral, violent psychopaths. Since it is not, I think it is safe to assume that they are wrong.
