My only complaint about this thread was the "What makes people think I'm a mod?" part of the post, which is OBVIOUSLY attention whorish, as in, stroke my ego and tell me why I look like I'm an important part of this website.

Yeh, most likely I won't ever get modded and yeh I'd probably take it if offered, but I still think it seems like a pretty shit deal. Half the people suddenly hate you for no reason and like Enoll said, you get people IMing and emailed you all the time trying to suck up.

Yeh, I'd take it just for the power... but not everyone is campaigning in the hopes that Wade is going to mod them one of these days.

Although it may not be all too "pointless". Perhaps it is to me and you and 90% of the boards, but personally I think Enoll's kind of underrated. I mean, he's never done anything super spectacular but he's loyal to the site and has his moments. Perhaps he just needed a little reminder as to why he should devote so much time here, but didn't want to come right out like that.
