What did you guys think of yesterday's April Fools Joke? I thought it was pretty good. Way better than last year for sure.

It was quite good. It was slightly annoying not having access to mature submissions, which obviously brought on some portal abuse. The word filter also made me laugh, but otherwise, a little too red.

I actually like the layout. It looked pretty good, and it was different. But the post history list made it impossible to read, or see anything for that matter.

Alright, one quick question-How will we actually know when the reconstruction will be in place? I doubt it will be as big of a change as the 07' or even the april fools reconstruction. I'm not sure that even when the new system's in that there will be much change.

I look at the glass half empty, so that I can milk a f*cking cow to get it full and then sum.

Don't know to be honest not posted due to lack of things do say. But I did like April Fools day and the Chinese Design funny and clever. I have no idea when the new system will be out. Glad the BBS joke was a joke all played out well though. Well on sirtom93 I think it was really stupid crazy thing to do but its well dealt with fast.

Well, for me, my computer has fucked the shit, and I'm trying to fix it. Fucking viruses. Anyway, I've been crazy busy the last couple of weeks on top of my computer exploding. Needless to say, posting anyway has been a secondary thing.

Well, I think that the new revenue system is great. For those who can get high traffic to their pages. Anyone outside of a popular artist (who will be making money from in-flash ads) will be raking in the big bucks. Which is fair, since I'm sure they don't get much money for making some flash movies or games.

Overall, I think it's great that everyone can earn a little extra money, but I can tell you that no one outside of major users will make anything.

The revenue system is great, but utterly useless to people who can't offer much more on their user pages than a phrase suggesting for undying love for breasts.

Reconstruction Period is suppose to be finish sometime at the end of May. I think that's what i told Basspro55 when he asked me.
You right now have no experience unless you mean XR System points which in that case hasn't been updated in months.

No but neither do i find it my job to let users be aware of when the reconstruction period is done. If you want just bookmark the NGDD or make it your front page (lol). I got a hand-full on my plate. So maybe someone else will private message you but certainly not me. Sorry.

Is it just my imagination, Or is the standard of things which pass the portal getting even worse. Don't get me wrong, I know that there has been crap passing through the portal for years. But, Lately I have noticed that its gone downhill even more. With slide show looking animations, with no sound, and crap graphics are still making there way through.

I think all the people voting these days are too easily fooled. They see a decent Preloader, and a decent page for the file itself, and they basically just assume its a great movie. Yesterday I saw two movies next to one another that were both absolutely horrible. I gave both of them 0's. Normally I hand out my scores without just using 0 or 5. But these were both truly bad movies. One had no animation, no coloring, no sound, and was just bad in general. The next was a 30second fight scene with sprites. I'm not biased to sprite movies at all, But it has no Preloader, and would have been made in 5 minutes.

I went back to the portal 20 minutes later, To see that both had passed. With scores or 2.2 or 2.5. I was disappointed in the portal, Which I love so dearly.

Hello there iCurrie lovely to see you on here again and I got your PM. I have not noticed really the spam passing is not that bad then before really. Maybe you mean a certain person by the name of Chris Beer who has been deleted 8 or 9 times, who goes by the name of Creeb or FFF. Just curious was the flash by RR by any chance? Well its sad that crap passes but all you can do it vote what you think the flash deserves. You are always going to get stat whores. A good place to look is SlashFirestorm post on my other club.

I'm not entirely sure of the name of the Author. Although, The flashed weren't spam or someone being a nuisance. It was just the classic case of someone creating a flash movie in 1day and expecting it to make it through the portal, with really not learning flash or putting much commitment in at all. And, They got what they wanted.

It may not be too much more than usual, But to see two horrible submissions from two different authors pass in a row, Made me really kinda, Stressed out. But, I guess the portal has always had its few flaws to its name.

Hey guys, just dropping in to say hello. I saw that Wylo dropped in and that's pretty sweet. I've been really busy lately between lacrosse, student teaching, and schoolwork in general. I lost time for life (not the user), which has been somewhat disappointing. Good to see a lot of you are still around and doing well.

The NGDD is currently going through a reconstruction period and at this point it would be pointless to accept anyone as every current member of the NGDD will have to go through the new application process.

Well... they can join and become involved it's just considering this topic is pretty much dead and has a nice amount of members part of it i don't see why adding more members would change that. Yet again, i really don't think these users want to join the NGDD for a discussion based on improving the NGDD. They haven't experience the NGDD at all.

There's some issues that need to fixed. The XR System for one. The ranks, the probation system, contest system, you name it, etc.
