Nice! I'd be on Level 12 if I deposited every day, but with exams and whatnot some missed days were unavoidable for me.

The reason I missed was because I didn't have internet access for a year or two. I wish I would of known someone back then and I could of had them deposit for me. I mean a 04 sign up date with this low of a level just makes me very sad. :(

Well I've almost hit the 9,000 EXP mark, which is quite the accomplishment for me. Even though I probably owe more than 100 points of it to Corky for depositing for me. It's nice to see everyone is posting here and being active, and also congrats Phantom on the level up. I'm still fairly busy, but I'm positive that I'll be returning to the NGDD soon enough. I need to sort out everything with colleges before I make my final return.

May I join this fine establisment of a club? I have been wanting to for quite a long time, and have been raking up the B/S points. Right now, I'm pretty sure I qualify for BBS and Flash.

Regarding Flash (Portal now) I hope you don't get your hopes up until your whistle is normal at least. BBS seems fine, but I'll wait for another opinion, just in case. (you'll go on probation even if we agree).

Well in this club there isn't anything that says anything about having a garbage whistle. His reviews are generally alright, but could be worked on just a bit more. His posts are also pretty decent. I would say maybe the BBS is a better place for him like you have said.

Opps! i did not notice my bad spelling ,i need a spell checker when im posting. I forgot the n in penguin my mistake. Copy and paste would be quicker, i dont know why i did not think of that. Well if you want something to talk about then what do you guys think of movies that are submitted to newgrounds that are live action and have no animation in them or very little? I personally don't mind them if they are funny or really good. I even have two of them myself. Check them out and maybe even review them.

Sooo...... how's the weather?

It's been pretty shitty for me; pretty cold (75-80 F tops), with rain and thunderstorms coming and going. The worst was when I had to get in the pool at 9 AM to teach swim lessons to little kids. But they were freezing their asses off, so we called everything off for the day.

It's been raining here every single day for the last week. It's a shame too. >:(

Well yeah, I don't know how to get rid of my garbage whistle. But I do have 32 reviews, and don't th rules say silver whistle OR 30 reviews?

Not a big fan, I always considered Newgrounds to be Flash Portal, a claymation in swf isn't flash, it's not in any way a part of Flash creation. mixes are okay, but just claymation? however good it is, I don't think it belongs here on NG. Newgrounds isn't the Claymation portal, is it?

We can't change that here and the amount of reviews you have doesn't affect your whistle level.

Whistle levels change by flagging abusive reviews, or blowing your whistle on abusive submissions as they are submitted to the Portal.

To stay on top of those abusive reviews. :)

Well it may be a flash portal, but as you know everything is allowed so why not right? And when I said live action I meant exactly live action like video tape. I didn't mean stop action as in claymation.

No, he isn't asking how to get his whistle level up. He is talking about the rule that if he wants to join the club he either needs a silver whistle or 30 reviews and since he has 30 reviews then he should be allowed to join the club.

Meh, it's hot and dry, night and day. The only thing that changes is the amount of light.

I still don't really support it, I think the Newgrounds Flash portal is unique because of its exclusive nature. The whole point of Newgrounds was animation, live action as you say, video tapes, if not in any way combined with Flash, are nice, and sometimes great, but I don't think they belong here.

The one is a star wars based movie so it does have animation in it, but still live action at the same time. The other one is pure video with no animation, but both passed with great scores, the one even has over a 4.05 as the score as well. I personally don't mind them. It does say Everything By Everyone. I remember back in 04 there use to be more live action videos that passed judgment then there is today, but they were still welcome.

The only problem I have with live action with some flash is that they belong on Youtube, not here. This is a flash site, not a video upload site. I'll allow claymation, because it's a form of animation, and live action flash games, since this is the only place to play them, but other than that, it belongs on Youtube

Yeah, that is a shame. Another shame is that the pool was still really cold, but we still held the lessons.

That's the thing though. They don't belong on youtube. So just because someone has a video that doesn't have animation in it then it has to go to youtube? If that was true then there would be a rule against anything else. It does make me mad when people say that things like that belong on youtube because it's like they have completely forgot about things like Numa Numa. Numa Numa came out in 2004, years before Youtube. This was the only place where Gary could show is creation. Had he created it in 2007, he would have sent it to Youtube.

Look at Charlie the Unicorn; it would have never risen to it's current popularity had Youtube not picked it up. I mean, on Newgrounds it would have been popular, but so is Madness and Brackenwood.

If Tay Zonday had posted Chocolate Rain here, I would have told him to post it on Youtube. Granted, had he posted the song here, then the video, I would have been let it slide.

Look, all I'm saying is that this is a animator's site, used to promote animations. Sure, some videos are good and increases traffic (Numa Numa has gotten 15 million views), but unless they are great, they belong on Youtube.

Haha, I've never seen that, but it was funny. Anyway, I agree that even if things aren't necessarily flash, they should still be allowed. Especially if they get voted in, then that means that it's obviously worthwhile (mass voting notwithstanding)

What about someone like me who has no flash talent whatsoever and yet at the same time wants to contribute something to newgrounds? I would consider my star wars movie newgrounds material and it seems like a lot of other people think so to since the review rating is around 9 with 50 or so reviews and it is the number one recommended movie for the star wars collection. If you think that person should take their work to youtube when they are a big newgrounds fan then you really aren't thinking too clearly.
