Not a surprise, I was tired as hell. I'll finish them up tonight and post them. I'm sorry for another inconvenience, but work is killing me. This is my 6th day in a long line of 13 hour days of nothing but lifting heavy boards and construction....stuff.

Once again I agree with you that he definitely deserved the win there. You don't have to apologize. There is no way in a million years that I could possibly host and score a competition. I think that it is a great thing that you are doing it though and giving us a good chance to promote ourselves within the department and also promote the activity of the department thread.

As for my weeklong absence I had to go to Orlando, about two hours north of here for a competition so I was unable to access a computer. I was able to access the internet with my iPod for long enough to get a PM out to APF so I can compete in the next competition and hopefully put out another strong showing. Anyway I should be back in full swing again starting today.

Note to DarkSoldier:

1) Nobody is letting the power get up to their head at all. APF is keeping it the way it should be: one department for each person. Why are you complaining?

2) Who's revolting? Someone made a mistake and didn't even try to change the decision of Anal's when he realised he was mistaken. No reason to whip someone.

I basically got this idea for a contest from djconnect, when he stated that he would like to see more Audio reviews being done around the NGDD. I've done a mission at one point for Audio reviews, but the only problem was, only 5 or 6 members actually completed. Now we'll have about 9 to 12 member competing and trying to get more than a simple 10 Audio Reviews.

Point System:
2 Lines = 1 point
4 Lines = 3 points
6 Lines = 5 points
10 Lines = 9 points

Extra Rules:
1.) NO SPAMMING REVIEWS JUST TO GET POINTS!!! BE SINCERE IN YOUR REVIEWS IN AN EFFORT TO HELP THE ARTIST!!!

2.) If a review gets deleted by a mod due to abusiveness, you will automatically be deducted 15 points. I will be counting points every day so I'll know if one gets deleted.

3.) Be sincere in your reviews, and refer to Extra Rule #1. We're here to help the artists, not to be the greatest winner of all time. If I see that the review makes no sense and it's absolutely pointless, I'm not going to count the points. Points are at my discretion. Always. Remember that.

4.) A good review worth 10 Lines is 10 FULL LINES. You must fill up the line to recieve full credit.

5.) A "sign off" statement doesn't earn you points.

Phantom, this is unnacceptable. I've always respected you as a leader, especially when I was at the very lowest point in the NGDD. People barely knew who I was, and I always respected you nonetheless. You gave the go ahead to find a new Commander, and all of these members who respected you once, just as I did, voted me into the Commander position. They trust me to run the Newgrounds Department of Defense in the best way possible, and from what I can tell they are loving it so far.

The situation with Lotus has been resolved already. He's a damn good BBS member and I don't want to lose him in the NGDD. Hopefully he'll still stay with us because he's taken a lot of shit from a lot of people within the NGDD for a simple mistake that I took responsibility for. I'm sorry, but as Commander of the NGDD, I'm standing up for my own members and taking the blame myself. You've insulted members who would respect you as Commander just as much as they have respected me, and I can't let that happen. It's unfair what you did after I handled the situation and everything was working out fine.

Most of all you've insulted me as a Commander and how I've chosen to run the NGDD. It doesn't make me look too good when the new members see an older Leader coming in here and insulting me based on how I'm running the NGDD. I'm sorry to say, but I had to realize it myself when I changed the way the NGDD was run, but great members are bred, not born. We used to have a lot of heavy hitters such as you, life, and ReconRebel, but now it's basically just pwroftheseagoat and Idiot-Finder. But you know what? I'm happy with our members now. They're dedicated and they want to make the NGDD and Newgrounds itself a better place. That's all that matters.

If you have a problem with what I've said, take it to PMs, not to the NGDD thread.

I saw that you weren't, but with Phantom in the mood that he was, you could have easily set him off, and you know what happens when Phantom gets pissed. Atleast I have a (very small) voice of reason to keep me from doing anything morbidly stupid, but I'm not sure about him. It's better not to take chances, even so. Don't you agree?
