I vote for APF, I think nothing is more important in a leader than actually being present, and an active leader is vital. skills are not born with. Neither is leadership, it all comes in good time.

Ermmmm the fact i couldn't do my old job anymore due to the Ministry of Defence not taking too kindly to me trying to kill myself and a fact of me starting to get a life off the internet :O the shock. Anyway how are things going?

I'd like to withdraw my name from voting. If you guys haven't noticed (which would make me feel sad), I post infrequently anymore, and sometimes can't even get a deposit in.

Don't get me wrong; I love being here, and love Newgrounds still, I just don't show up as much anymore. And if elected, the same problem would persist. Also, I'm in charge of too much shit right now to take on another responsibility.

But I would vote for APF; he's essentially the leader, and he seems to truly care about the Department of Defense. He's also one of the more active people on the list.

Most people are inactive and...soo....yeah...if we were to take everyone's name off then we would only have about 3 people on the list. But in your withdrawing your name which is different...

Phantom you're still welcome back anytime you would like, as are you WastedWizard. You two were always key roles in the NGDD, and you're always welcome back to return into full ranks.

As for you puredragon222, you need to tell us what Department you would like to join, unfortunately I can't count your vote as for right now haha, but if you tell us the Department you'd like to join, I can let you in as soon as I get the chance. Here is where you'll find all of the information you need to join the NGDD, so let us know.

I'm off to my lacrosse game today, then work, then possibly a club tonight (??? hopefully) so I may not get around to it tonight to let you in, but if you're Department Head notices I'm sure they can accept/reject you based on what they see.

We're voting in a new leader to the Newgrounds Department of Defense. The voting list is on the previous page and yes you are allowed to vote.

AnalPenguinFarming's been basically running this club for a while anyway, so he might as well have the title of NGDD Head to go along with his position. Therefore, I vote for AnalPenguinFarming for Head of the Newgrounds Department of Defense!

The voting ends on Sunday evening OR when I feel a majority of the users on the current list have contributed votes, and I've decided until then I'm not going to update the list because I want to wait until we have a leader and I can do everything at once.

Basically that means today I'm going to be doing a load of reviewing because I cracked my shoulder at today's game, and I'm stuck in my room until I can move my arm again. Life sucks fairly hard for me.

Im not to familiar with the others i heard of MrFinland of cousre, and RSQViper although i dont know him. not that i mean that i dont mean to be offensive. Im assumed you were leader only because you started the thread ,but i dont want to think i being unfair to the others.

It's understandable.

Today really sucks everyone. It's a fairly nice day outside, and I'm stuck in here with my cracked shoulder on Newgrounds trying to find some way to stay entertained. I wrote 4 reviews today, so I feel fairly accomplished there. I've only gotten somewhere around 50 B/Ps though, unfortunately. I'm just hoping to pick it up a notch or two tonight.

A lot of flashes are passing today that just...shouldn't. It isn't like they're spam either. They are just...amateur style flashes that don't deserve to be on the site. I swear I zeroed almost 12 stick figure flashes, and all of them got through. Unbelievable.

My PC didn't crash at all, although I could be wrong. All I saw was a circular figure moving across the screen with the head of it flapping off and on while techno music played in the background. I zeroed it anyway, but chances are it will pass.

Well everyone I apologize for not being here for so long, but I had a great night last night. I took my girlfriend out on a date to a local steakhouse and probably had the best seafood pasta of my life with an appetizer of french onion soup. Sometimes $70 for a dinner for two is well worth it. Then on top of everything the Newgrounds update screwed everything up bad. But back to work!

Now I would like to personally thank all of you for voting for me as the new leader of the Newgrounds Department of Defense. I don't have an Innauguration Speech ready, but I will tell you all what I plan on doing within this next year of the NGDD.

First I plan on creating a Hall of Fame page for the old members of the NGDD who contributed to the greatness it is today. It will include biographies, accomplishments, and where they are today. I also plan on creating member information and what each member does for their Department, as well as what they contribute to the overall NGDD.

Second will be the major contest being held this summer including REAL LIFE PRIZES that I have promised to you all. There will also be real prizes from the NG store for those who come in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the end of this year for winning the most contests.

Finally, I plan on cleaning up the NGDD more than it has already been cleaned up. There will be a proper power distribution for all members, and a way to rank up so that all members will have a power to work towards having. My goal is to make this as much of a home for members to come to as possible to talk to each other and enjoy like a Newgrounds Family. I plan on recruiting new members to join our less active departments - the flash and audio departments, as well as adding on to our current and most active departments - the BBS and portal departments.

Again I would thank you all for voting me as your leader, and I promise to make the Newgrounds Department of Defense the best it can possibly be!

Well APF, congratulations on your victory in the election! You've been running the place for a while now, so now at least you have the title and power needed to do what you must and put your ideas into play. They certainly sound like good ideas, especially the part about the power structure for members. Kind of an incentive for people to keep doing their duty to NG.

I have a fetish for that stuff. You have no freaking clue how much I love it. It borders on creepy. Well, actually, I only really like it if they have the mozzarella melted on top. They changed the recipe it now, but this local chain called The Machine Shed (farmer-themed, I guess) used to have it in a giant bowl with ludicrous amounts of mozzarella and a pile of onion straws atop the whole thing. It was awesome.
