Hey guys I've been PMing back and forth with someone recently and I'm pretty sure that we have a new Audio Department Head. If he agrees that is. I listened to some of his Audio...and he definitely qualifies to be a Head of Department. I thought the stuff he created was sick, but that's just me. Hopefully he'll apply today. Alright well that's my update...off to work.

Yay! I don't see why he wouldn't i mean, that's really the next best thing to being a mod. Excuse my noobness but, Who are those in the head departments? I'm pretty sure that AnalP. is head of the BBS but who is charge of flash and audio? And any others. I'm certain that I missed some. Yet, I'm to tired to care.

I'm not head of any department to be honest (Unless Cole is just considered the Leader of the NGDD, which would make me Head of Internal Affairs Department). All I am is an Admin who can select who joins and who doesn't. The Department Heads are as follows:

BBS Department: TheThing
Flash Department: ShortMonkey
Audio Department: ----------
Portal Department: Odyssic
Internal Affairs: Cole

Check the NGDD userpage to find out most questions you may have before asking here. Almost everything is answered on that page, and pretty much anything that hasn't been answered there I'll do my best to post up.

I guess I'll go back to doing my weekly BBS Reports.

***01/27/08 NewGrounds BBS Weekly Report***

- The BBS seems to be getting less spammier as the mods keep doing a better and better job.

- Multiple alts have been created for spam purposes. The Mods say "The Alt's Have Not Broken Any Rule's Yet".

- Admin WadeFulp has taken lots of action against these spam groups. Lots of users are happy except for the ones who got their accounts deleted.

- Alts have been used to bump Admin TomFulps Threads from about 02.

- A lot of new users are willing to take former BBS mod Canas's place.

- Lots of users have been pleased with the un-lock of RageVI's abusive review thread.

- No new news posted by TomFulp this week.

DarkSoldier I'd just like to say...that's AWESOME! Seriously I really like the idea of doing that and I'm EXTREMELY impressed! It's all about the little things when it comes to the NGDD. Seriously man, that's really great. Keep it up.

Also, how often do you plan on doing those? Every Sunday? Because I'll use them as a log on the NGDD user! It's an awesome idea, how does everyone else feel?

It is an awsome idea. It seems that alts are getting smarter about spaming. I guess they know their IP can get deleted now.

It's like watching the news....but no terroristes are in sight..and it's interesting.

But what I really came here for before I noticed my garbage whistle was gone, was because I made a new Recruitment Notice for the NGDD on my userpage in case anyone wanted to check it out.

I've seen that there are new members which is very good but, I've seen some of their posts here are a bit limited. Should we have some sort of imformative message on the NGDD UP expressing that we like meaty post?

Yea I totally forgot:

New members go easy on the one line posts, try and say something intelligent along with your one liner. We aren't all about notifications on what's spam and what isn't. I mean it's great to notify us and stuff, but like intelligence is key to this place. If you get used to posting intelligently here, you'll get more used to posting intelligently in the regular General Forum, and users will have a hell of a lot more respect for you.

Makes sense to me. I actaually found though, that certain people were BEGGING for an IP ban this week. One I mentioned in this thread put porn up randomly in the forums. The later it gets, the worse. I found TWO blatant spammers within an hour of each other last night.

I wish I could do something more than pm mods about it... A system that might be useful is a "post flagging system." But, that's wishful thinking- it would take way too much work and be abused.

Yea so I was looking back at my posts to my more ancient days on Newgrounds and I finally found where my old animated sig was. It's probably the coolest sig I've ever seen, and I'm glad I found it because...I dunno it's pretty sweet. Anyone want to see it? Sucks if you don't.

Haha I don't care, I was just making some fun out of the situation. But for now I gotta pack up my stuff and head back up to school. Sadly this was my last weekend at home before the lacrosse season starts. So I don't get to come home as often, but it's not like I won't be back on NG tonight when I get back to school so all of this is totally irrelevant lol. See you guys in a bit.

Here was mine in response to all the animated 'THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAetc.' sigs at the time 300 was the talk of the internet (and when it became a large internet fad). Unfortunately due to the filesize constraints, it couldn't be animated any slower.

I approve of your sig in every meaning of the world. I actually kind of miss the 300 fad- ah well. I wish I could enter the competition, but I never got an animated sig. Too bad, because I really want one after seeing these...
