To get this topic moving, I saw Halloween the other night. I haven't seen the original, but one of my friends that I went with did. He said it was similar, but not entirely. He also said that there was more back story than the original, which there was.

In my opinion, it was really good, especially for today's horror movies. But there wasn't enough slasher in it; there was a lot of why Micheal was like the way he is before any real killing is done. It also just seemed more like a porno towards the end; too much sex, although I'm not complaining. But it was interesting to see how he killed people; it just wasn't some stab-you-in-the-face-and-move-on movie; Micheal Myers actually killed his victims differently. If you see it, see if you can pick up on how he kills men, women and the people he's close to.

Also, the best line I've ever heard was in the beginning; the mom and dad (who's leg, arm, and finger is in a cast) are arguing during breakfast. The dad says "I'll crawl over there and skull fuck you, bitch!"

Can i join? As i read from the first post i'm very active in the Flash portal,i sometimes write reviews(always detailed),helpful in the Wi/Hi,and starting to send more abusive reviews to rages gift. Plus if it counts i'm already a member of the EGB's and vote fairly.

Thank you very much i probably wont be too active until the night because my computer overheats because it's nearly 100 degrees in my house. I'll gladly join the portal department. I'm very excited to join this crew i'll try my best to be active in the portal. I'll also be an active helper answering peoples questions and supplying abusive links.

Congrats on joining. It is about that time of the month again and there will be a competition. A quiz I think. I like them.

Because it is a quiz and people will post at different times I will ask (as usual) for the answers to be posted BY PM to me. I will not tolerate a copy paste attitude with the last person to post having al the crect answers stolen off those before.

Eh i'd proably lose i'm far too new to be able to get stuff like that correct. I'm curious from the first post it said you could get stuff or get points for other ranks. Where's a list of needed points for other ranks? I'm pretty interested in the B/p competitions i saw the clock day one but where are other examples of them?

If i remember right, that was the first competition on the new NGDD! I remember when the competition started (4 days long), I got a 3 day ban. In the last hours of the last night, I won the whole thing. It was really fun and I hope that you can pull it off as well as Dave did! But I suppose Dave DID get Rabid-Echidna demodded by using his account in that competition...

I have been lurking in the EGB for awhile, I have been tossing up when to join or not. I am surprised you haven't come here sooner to be honest. You will be a great addition here. I guess what I am saying is "why now"?

Well, wasn't this one not so much a remake as it was a backstory to the original Halloween? That's how I took the commercials anyway.

Lol today was my first day it was pretty fun...I'm taking a computer drawing & graphics class that uses CorelDraw (newest edition) so that should be interesting.

I'm not a big horror fan, so I don't know too many Rob Zombie films, but to my knowledge this one didn't suck. There was a lot of killing, but the massacre he created when he was a kid was interrupted for about 30 minutes or so and the slasher part of the movie was 45-60 minutes at most.

Nah, BBS. I joined that up back when I averaged 2-3 B/P points a day. Also, I have a better chance to move up the chain of command if I stay with the BBS.

Damn you. 3 years ago, my school had a teachers strike. It lasted a year and half. But I didn't miss any time. At all. I guess in the end it was good; instead of not having school in the beginning of the year, I didn't have school at the end.
