I'm sure you're in, you've got more than enough stats, plus I beleive to have seen you post in the EGB which adds to your adds to your chances being that Phantom is in charge of the memberlist and the recruits.

Am I that much of a power whore?

Is it just me or have we had a whole bunch of people joining the Portal Department lately. I think in like the last 4 or 5 pages I have seen Phantom say "well since it is my department then youre in". I think that we need to go out and find some people that wanna join some of the other departments. Not that there is anything wrong with the wonderful department that is the portal.

Don't say that to loud he might eat you. Anyway I think that is a big part of it too. On the front page it says that BBS is really entry level so people are like "well I don't wanna do that and be the bottom of the barrel" (No offense, all BBS people don't eat me) and I think that Portal is the next easiest one to do while still accomplishing something from time to time without too much backbreaking work. Plus unlike the flash department it is free to be a member where as in the flash department you have to buy flash or in audio you have to buy FL Studio. And that is why we are the best department.

Yeah, you do have more than enough stats to get in. You have better than I do, but for now I have more ranks at NGDD than you, and I'm gonna enjoy it when it lasts.

I've seen how it is calculated, I mean, how does it come into play when actually voting :S

I'm not sure but I think this is it, when a movie i under judjement, it has to have more than 1.5 after 150 votes, if you vote on that movie and your voting power is 5 the movie now need 145 votes to get past.

No, it doesn't affect it that way. VP just gives your vote more weight to affect the score of a Flash more. It still counts as a single vote but is worth more. If you had a VP of 2 and voted 5 ona Flash, it would be the equivalent of voting a 10 on a Flash with a VP of 1

I never found a good chance to post this right after the contest but I still can't believe I got 193 on the contest. 193! But in real life, I started Intro to computer graphics in my school, meaning I'm finally going to get to learn how to use photoshop (!) So how's everyone else?

Photoshop isn't that hard, I self taught myself in a few month to make stuff way better than my sig pic, and I've seen poeple do even waay better, without any course at all, the program looks complicated, but try all the buttons, and qickly enough you'll be great.

Can you please tell me how you got your photoshop sig to move. I have no idea what so ever on how to make a moving sig in photoshop. I have a good understanding of flash and that is why I dont understand how you can make it move without frames. Please tell me how you do it Lebastic!

Actually you do use frames in photoshop., thoug it takes a little more work than in Flash, I'll PM you a full tutorial about it right away, or just PM me now if you want it over MSN. with your e-mail of course

I think that is the exact same score that i got on the last competition. It sucks ass doesn't it. I was so mad when I got it that time. I really thought that I did have to 200 points for the participation prize.

Thats pretty cool! a couple of weeks ago, a family about 5-10 minutes away from my town was on Wife Swap. I don't have any friends there, or family, but its pretty awesome that your town or area is on TV. Good TV, not the TV with Hurricane Katrina or the war on Iraq.
