What they listen to in grade K-6 will not effect what the believe in life. When the hit junior high they will begin listening to the music that they will listen to for the rest of their lives. Who has had the same favorite band since first grade until they are thirty?

Ok, maybe it's a bit overboard but I listened to lame stuff in the past! Kids like it because it's 'catchy" and has a beat to it that appeals to them.

Their music taste will change overtime. Mine did once I got into 7th grade.

Oh yeah, and I really don't like emo music but Simple Plan, Linkin Park, and all those other ones that were named are not emo.

I'm sick of hearing the phrase "emo". It's extremely overused.

yeji, I see you are getting annoyed by that but I didn't mean this topic to go twards emo. One or two of the songs were emo and the rest just plain out sucked. I also think that the word emo is already stressed out enough. Thanks for the post though
