This is making me fucking angry. The whole issue of Net Neutrality. If you're too lazy to watch the video, net neutrality is basically the idea that the internet providers have to give all internet data equal priority. Why does this threaten the internet? Because big internet companies could pay the internet providers to give their sites greater priority if net neutrality isn't protected.
Soon, congress will either pass or reject a bill that will require net neutrality, and keep the internet balanced.

I wish people would stop worrying about the net neutrality issue.
Even if they do abolish it, wireless mesh networks are due to hit the scene in a major way soon anyway, and it will more than likely be a de-centralised system.
Hell, we have a free statewide wireless network set up right now! Thousands of users, P2P. It's pretty grand.
