Ok, so today. we had a person post 2 of the same movies one "Funniest things om the internet" and then after it got the whistle he reposted as "Freedome of Speech". These Videos showed, Well, i will not discuss, but i will tell you of the most extreme thing i've seen, ever. The top right video shows a man getting his neck cut, the top left showed a man getting his privets chopped off, then a picture of his face in pain. I think just removeing these types of things isnt enough. i think we should really take act against this kinda stuff. I've seen sick and gross. but that was to the extreme. I personal think the government should act apon such vile things as this. Becuse, i've been to rotten.com but, the video i saw, Twice. was too extreme and should not be alowed on the internet. What do you think?

I would also like to add, we had a flash artist make a game, get it past the portal. then after it passed he re-edited it to make screaming sounds and put a trojan on your computer, i incountered. My browser crashing, a thing asking me if i wanted to print, and all mmy internet related stuff shut down. I dont have norton, but i do belive when someone trys to hack you, i makes a report and sends it to the FBI so the hacker gets caught, i think same should go for this crap. i cant stand it, also being on newground you have to take some percaution when dealing with pop-ups. becuse i can Etrust pest patrol, and when it scans the cookies, i find stuff like "Triblefusion" and others which are from, Newgrounds pop-ups. i love them for supporting newgrounds, but.... not cool.
Another thing is, those free smilys you can get for emails and such, yea, spyware. If you didnt know what that type that the pop-ups on newground are, they are the type that get your email and give it to buisnesses so they can spamm your email. Where do you think they get the money to make those smilys? you think they do it for free. They get paid to put spyware in those. so companys can spamm your email.
Just thought i'd warn people and since i cant do anythin else but be on newgrounds. i'd thought i'd let everyone know, whats going on.

The truth is that anyone can access the internet and some of the people who use it are quite sick in the head. It's difficult for any government to regulate the internet, because it's an international network and it's hard to prosecute someone for posting offensive material on a website.

Well, there's nothing that we can really do with file swapping after it's passed judgement. After that stage, the only thing to do is to give Wade an E-mail about it and that's about it. Yeah, I saw both of MartyrJohn's (that's his name, right?) flashes...they were pretty brutal, but I was there with my whistle...the one that got it marked for Admin review. From what I heard, these kinds of things make people want to get off the portal, however there are people who do what's right and blow their whistles. I don't intend on leaving the portal because i've gotten used to a lot of the garbage people submit. I e-mailed Wade, but I don't know if he got it; and I can't stand for this! I have grown more vigilant from last month, you other 14 year olds should hold a better example for those 13-year olds and fake 14-year-olds-who-are-really-eleven who browse the site as well by following suit (like more blamming, whistling, and protecting)! I'm pretty commited to my role and would like to encourage more vigilance in the way you act when something is under judgement, or when somthing like "%%FREE CUNT HENTAI%%%" comes into the portal after being file-swapped as these kinds of things are becoming more and more common! a system that alloows post-under judgement whistle blows for matured accounts (level 9+) to help ensure the guy doing it is not just an idiot might work.
Or make it a possibility that someone with a certain whistle level can perpetually blow the whistle on an entry even if it passed.
Would allow a quicker solution then the current one standing.
As for content on the internet, information, even things we don't agree with, needs to be preserved and kept free. The internet is the place for it to do so, and nothing, and I mean nothing should be banned. Some things should have prosecution going after it due to regional laws (like child porn).
Everything you see is information, just because you don't like something doesn't mean its existence should be covered up. It helps expose you to the sick world we are in if you are interested.
Which brings up the control point. Those videos should be in existence, but they should NOT be in the flash portal because it violates the Agreement when you submit a flash, which should lead to an IP ban.
BTW, if any admins do happen to come in here, IP banning is really not difficult. If it's simplist form just add a command in the header file calling for the remote IP, and an if/else statment stating to do a quick comparison against a databse of banned IP's and if it matches to return a "banned" page, else to return the normal contents of the site.
If you are worried about server load, since NG is more traffic than I have ever worked with, just have it execute off of a PHP_[SELF] command (drunk, so don't bash my accuracy, thinking of the one that pulls the URL), so that the command only executes on the account signup or the flash submit page.

Look, it was appropriately rated as "Adult Only", and it is hentai which is suitable on the site, so it did not have to! You just have to look more into the background of the site to understand what is allowable and what is not (Hentai is allowable material here).
