Very cool design, good idea. Let me help on improving it a bit.
How about making the teeth a bit longer, in horror teeth length is a scariness factor, the longer and sharper the teeth, the scarier.
Next to that, try using this texture I made in Photoshop as a background:

(640x480)
And a smaller preview:

cool background ill give it a shot. i was also whinking about making it kook like the inside of a mouth as for the teeth I'll give em a shot to make them longer, but i kinda like how they are now . they remind me of the doll from trilogy of terror

Screenies? I'm actually a perfectionist and I've got a feeling I need to change the levels and brightness a tad. And maybe a noise cloud...but I'm not too sure...hmm. I've tried to have it look a bit like rugged flesh.
I can come in with what you mean with the pygmy, but his theeth are also sharper, have more space in between, which makes them seem longer. Hmm. But I think some y-scaling and resharpening (the stretched/duplicated pixels, not the teeth) in PS would be sufficient enough.

Hrm, crappy that it's so small.
But It looks good indeed. I'm glad the blue works out fine, I was worried it would stand out too much, but I forgot to consider the thumbnails in that. Still need some slight adjustments here and there though, also on the coloration of the teeth and gums. But the outlay is just perfect.
I'm doing fine on my part btw, got a few plots and stories brewed up, now I only need to choose...hmm difficult. But be prepared for some mind twisting horror with psychedelic monsters though.
Hey btw, if you're not filling up the 100 (is possible, but we'll see), how are you about series or multiple entries.
I think series would be better then just multiple entries though, just 2 making 1 story, with a heartthumping cliffhanger, hmmmmm
ok nevermind, misread...
yeah i will try to work some of mine into a series, and feel free to make your own in a series of episodes, i think it would be cool to continue stories throughout, and even have crossovers where different people's tories overlap.
Or you could just type something along the lines of "free scary noise download" into google.
Never forget...
i finished my entry: The Thing in the Dark its pretty short, but a bit cool. if anyone could tell me where to get good sounds for free, that would be appreciated
Song of the Firefly is on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter. Give them a look and support the project!

I think that's too short, try and make it longer. And think up more of a story. Try to put more work in it.
And as for the hand, use your own hand for reference.
Flashkit has some sounds.
But it's a good start.

findsounds.com is pretty nice
yeah you should put more work into that in general, ease the tweens out and in and draw a better hand
