ok here we go. I have never done a collab, but I sit here primed to get this accomplished.
I want to create a series, with you the fine Flash artists of Newgrounds. A series that will span up to
100 frightful stories of horror and dread. I call it 100 teeth. Here's the rundown

We combine stories into a form much like that of the Tales from the Crypt series.
Each person creates their own horror story( a short one) , then we combine them into one collection spanning up to 99 episodes(I'm planning on trying to fit 2-3 episodes per volume.
I will try to make one story for each volume, If i do not, then other slots are filled by whomever, and the volume will be uploaded and author credited to the people that DID get the entries in. In this case i will only take credit for concept and title screen design.
Here are the specs

Time limit: none. When you are finished we add it and whoever gets in first, gets in first.
(there is plenty of room for episodes)

Must be horror related! This does not mean gory! this is open to interpretation. Fear dread
loneliness, anything thought provoking.

It can be as simple as visuals set to music.

Frame rate (30) I know this may seem high, but this is what i like to work with(note: some episodes may change frame rates in the future.

dimensions (550x400) Flash default ( you can letterbox if desired)

Break appart all of your text!

All of your animation must be compiled into one single movie clip

All symbols named uniquely for each user.

Use streamed sounds only.

Last, but certainly not least, It must be good. (No sticks unless it is extremely well done)
We should have high standards and pride for this work we will birth unto the portal!

Please ask questions, we will all help each other out here and work together where needed.

Also, If you would like, you could work on this with other users , to make one story, so long as each person gets credit where credit is due.

Can I have a short part in it? I already know my story and it's about pain and suffering buut i can't tell you anymore becuse the walls have ears... *looks at walls*

some of my favorites, and you all are in if you are willing to dedicate yourselves to make it as good as you can. You can reference other materials, but try not to blatantly rip any thing off. I want as many people in this , as are willing to contribute. :)

here is the rough draft of the intro i will use on the first volume to lead in to the stories, this will Only be on the first episode to help save space for future volumes.

The Blackest Depths

I tell you this story that you may learn of the blackest of depths and the slightest hint of the things that I have seen, things that should not be. In the darkest slithering of depths I met a being. The monstrosity that sat before me in all its gnarling and festering, asked me, not with audible words mind you, to listen to its tales. Through the darkness and my watering eyes that now burned from the stench which emanated from this…… thing, I could only see one distinguishing feature…… its mouth. As the stories poured forth in vision and a jumble of emotions racing through my head, I started to count. It’s all I could do to keep my sanity up until my point of departure from this world. As the behemoth finished the last story it was willing to impart upon my now tortured soul, I had finished all I was willing to count. One-Hundred ………. One-Hundred Teeth.

Any other takers? I will leave this thread also open to discussion and help topics

So, if I wanted to join - I'd have to able make some kind of though-provoking thrillier/horror flash (not necessarily with gore in)?

I might get something done. Animation is not my speciality, but tension, horror, and art is.

Looks good. The background looks too plain though. Maybe either add a pattern to it or possibly even make it dlowly fade into different scary colours.

sorry didn't write today long day at work now 322 in the mone and am drunk eagerly awaitng entries and working on one myself

haha i was drawing my monster for the horror story and ended up with this...
its Gunther the sock puppet! i drew the teeth first but this has happenned to me before but this is the most ironic one...
