Im an anarchist, and most anarchists arn't stupid. Look at Noam Chomsky, he writes award winning books, every single one high reviews and he's an anarchist ( in a way and he did write a book on anarchy which explained some pros and cons). Personally, I like things such as roads, television, music, books, hospitals, and not farming. But that's just me.

Why are you wasting your time aruing about why you're not stupid? Anarchy is a fad. Just like Emo. It's just a bunch of kids trying to be rebels because MTV said it's cool. That's why Chomsky's books get good reviews. It's really pathetic. Go follow some other stupid trend.

not exactly. you dont see people jumping on the "anarchy bandwagon" just because everyone else is doing it. in fact, i dont personally know any anarchists. i know people that dont like the american government, but that doesnt make them anarchists. so its not a fad, its a way of life that very few people choose to follow. emo is a fad because all youhave to do is tell a 15 year old (random age. dont think twice about it) hes sad and he will listen.

they will get good reviews from people that like them. why on earth would someone that didnt like the book give it a positive review, unless they found one or two things they thought made sense? nothing you said was right.

i honestly dont know anyone who thinks its cool. i know people that listen to what you could call anarchist music, but none actually support the idea of an entire absence of government. its mostly the one in place now that bothers the people i know. ive never met a true anarchist.

Ah, another good point. Poser anarchists? Think about that. That should be as ridiculous as saying somebody is a poser republican or a poser libertarian, but it's not. It's proof right there that, at least in many teenage cases, that being an anarchist has less to do about the actual beleifs of anarchism, and more about the HARDXCORE HEAVY METALLL BARBED WIRE SATANIC THUNDERRRRRR lifestyle it's come to be associated with.

this makes no sense at all. how do you justify shooting everyone with a differeing opinion than you? why dont you just say people of other races or religious beliefs suffer the same? and who qualifies as an "awesome" anarchist? what exactly determines that in your opinion? your just being bigoted for no reason, but trying to (yet failing) justify your statement.

I think it's funny when my mate gets on about anarchy. He considers himself anarchist and is knowlegable on the subject but if I ever mention it he rants on for hours about all the posers and what he actually stands for.

All the small comunes and no brands, that sort of stuff. I decided to consider myself knowlegable on the subject after he'd lectured me for the 40th time.

That reminds me of this movie with Laurel & Hardy. They were stranded on this island and decided that it will be a place with no rules, no laws where every one can do what he wants. Later on in the movie, this on guy tries to force a woman to kiss him and Laurel or Hardy (can't remember which one of them exactly) wants to stop him cause "it ain't right to do such a thing". But the guy defends himeslf by telling that there are no laws here dammit!! I can do what i want!! So Laurel and Hardy are forced to create laws since without them people would just rape, kill, steal etc. etc. because it isn't disallowed.

Such an old movie that is actually a comedy and wasn't ment to send any kind of message to the viewer and yet so many truths are in it. You see, a world without laws would only result in heh... ANARCHY :) you may think that it would be a beautifull world in which nobody tells you what you can or cannot do. But sooner or later it would be just like in the movie. At first people would have fun, it would be ok but later on somebody is bound to kill, to steal and do other things like that. There are no laws so whats there to stop me from killing you?? I'll take your car cause nobody said i can't. Fun eh?? :) yaaaaaay no laws, no goverment :))))
