I don't know why, its making me feel worse, but like, I dunno... I'm liking it.

Funny you should say that, i was just listening to The Answer Lies Within.

Seriously, not just saying that.

I´m starting to like These Walls alot aswell. The intro is top notch!

The only songs I ever liked less were I Walk Beside You, and The Answer Lies Within. I think the latter is one of their worst songs.

Ah, ok. Good stuff ;)

What songs are worse?

I´m not a great fan of ´through my words´, ´the spirit carries on´, ´the silent man´. Their slower tracks are their worst in my opinion.

Yeah, some of their slower tracks are quite bad, especially Through Her Eyes and Hollow Years, which I think are the worst. Also, I'm not bothered with Through My Words since it's just a really short track.

Yeah, they should leave the slow tracks to LaBrie´s albulms and stick to their ´face melting´ tunes.

Nice! :)

Aah a group liking the same music that influences me, good to have found one!

I recently saw Dream Theater in september, (On my birthday), and they were really kicking ass, I can't wait for their next tour to kick in.

There was a funny moment when I made a weird grimace to Petrucci and he sent the same one back, a memory for the rest of my life...

Personally I don't think there are many of their songs that aren't good, I might agree with one user that said I Walk Beside You as one of the latter songs that aren't as well made as the others, but like all songs, they have their good moments and bad moments.

I'm really impressed by Systematic Chaos, it really held up to its reputation and they didn't leave any talent to spare on the songs, although the Octavatarium CD will be my favourite album of theirs yet.

Glad to have another fellow fan here, sir.

I recently saw Dream Theater in september, (On my birthday), and they were really kicking ass, I can't wait for their next tour to kick in.

Opeth, 3 and Between The Buried and Me will be along side them for there next tour. I will INDEED try and attend it.

Lucky!

I liked "I Walk Beside You". It's a very cheerful song. I think all of their songs are great in their own way.

I'm really impressed by Systematic Chaos, it really held up to its reputation and they didn't leave any talent to spare on the songs, although the Octavatarium CD will be my favourite album of theirs yet.

I liked In The Presence of Enemies, Repentance and The Ministry of Lost Souls. In my opinion, Systematic Chaos is the album that finally breaks away from the old "DT-rock/metal" sound and goes into more of a rougher feel. We can all agree that DT's latest stuff isn't much like the old days, which isn't a bad thing, but, I miss it. :'(

DREAM THEATER: 'Best-Of' Double-CD Due In March - As long as there'll be at least one new track on the album and they don't butcher the length of some songs, I'll be interested in this album.

Good to see you here. Another Dream Theater (as well as In Flames) fan is great news.

I recently saw Dream Theater in september, (On my birthday), and they were really kicking ass, I can't wait for their next tour to kick in.

Lucky you, i still want to see them live :(

There was a funny moment when I made a weird grimace to Petrucci and he sent the same one back, a memory for the rest of my life...

Wow, if thats true thats surely a great memory, you must have been right at the front.

Personally I don't think there are many of their songs that aren't good, I might agree with one user that said I Walk Beside You as one of the latter songs that aren't as well made as the others, but like all songs, they have their good moments and bad moments.

Yeah, even though songs like ´I walk beside you´ aren´t their best, they´re still quality tracks.

I'm really impressed by Systematic Chaos, it really held up to its reputation and they didn't leave any talent to spare on the songs, although the Octavatarium CD will be my favourite album of theirs yet.

I was impressed with SC aswell, and it looks like they aren´t loosing their touch.

I suppose they´ve changed, but what do you expect after nearly 20 years. Atleast we can´t say they´ve changed for worse, because they´re still reeling out amazing tracks. And i have to say my new favourite song on systematic chaos is ´In the presence of enemies part2´.

Ohh...looks cool. I´ll probably get that aswell. I wonder what the ´other 19 cool songs´ are?

lol, i just checked and it was Insert-Pie. Just look at page 11, the first post. And look at the day and time of it ;)

I hope they don't put some of their lamest songs on that album, because they're not cool.

It sucks they're putting an original song on there, cause that means I'll have to get it. I could consciously ignore it otherwise, and to be honest I'd rather I could.
Greatest Hits albums are shit. And to pick 20 DT songs out of all the others is bollocks.
Buy the other albums >:(!

Yeah, because there are alot more than 20 good DT songs. They´re just putting an original track on it so people buy it.

If I owned all Queen's albums, then yes, it would include Queens.
Because I don't though, I am happy with Queen's GH.

Although it doesn't include any of the good songs from Night at the Opera.

Bohemian Rhapsody and You're my Best Friend are good songs, but the album could have had another track or two from ANATO.

I dunno, but that little bit of Bohemiam Rhapsody they did was pretty good, and James can do their songs well.

I agree, they're all great songs, but I guess they thought about their more popular songs on that album. If they add most of ANATO on the Greatest Hits album, it might as well be ANATO with other tracks. :P
