Err, hey, i don´t remember you but another member here is good news. Nothing really all that new, just random chit chat about DT and what not, well, that is when Nev and Bahamut arn´t arguing xD

After Life-Stream that is :P

There is no leader and there´s no need for one. End of that conversation.

As you can see, this is no longer a DT club.
This is a "talk about whatever comes to your mind" club.

On topic then... I was in a shop that sells cult music and is just not conventional... you know... and I saw an album by Dream Theater called 'Consciously Unreal'.
Its apparently an unofficial bootleg of live material recorded during the Images and Words tour.
If you search on google its for sale for £94 or something.
I'm going to need to go back and see how much it is :P.

Of course.
The live recording, however, is where he really shines.
Other than that, I really have nothing else to say.
I can't concentrate much, I've been listening to a lot of Porcupine Tree lately. In fact, I can't stop listening to "The Sky Moves Sideways" - It's like having soft and rough sex at the same time.
This is now a Porcupine Tree club because it's in my current interests.
Discuss.

They sound good. I´ll have to get an albulm or two, like Bahamut said, whats some good songs?
BUT this is still the DT club as they´re probably better than PT :)

Dream Theater are far better than PT.
I've have one album, and the one track that holds my attention is the title track 'Fear of a Blank Planet'.

Depends, what area are you guys looking for?
Porcupine Tree's albums have somewhat-different feels.
The Sky Moves Sideways is one the most relaxing album you'll ever hear. It's a cross between Ambience and Progressive.
Deadwing - Very good Progressive Rock on this album, nothing too weird for first time listeners.
Fear of a Blank Planet - This album is a masterpiece. Progressive Rock/Metal at it's finest.
Now for the songs... You guys should check out...
Fear of a Blank Planet
Anesthetize
My Ashes
Arriving Somewhere
Deadwing
The Sky Moves Sidways
Just something to start you off.
BUT this is still the DT club as they´re probably better than PT :)

okay, that all sounds good and i´m gonna look into that, but lets keep this club DT.
Look at
this photo of DT back in 1988, lol. They looked like right idiots i have to say. Especially Myung, lol, he looks black in this pic xD
And i just learned that the albulm ´live at the marquee´ is a recording of a live show in London *gasp*.
Oh, oh, and i just saw this on wiki...
At Dream Theater's Salt Lake City show, Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr. signed a proclamation making July 30th, 2007 "Dream Theater Day" in the state of Utah.
And...
On December 2007, Dream Theater were chosen as the Xbox Live's artist of the month.

Hey everybody.
I've been listening to a lot of my "old" favorite bands, and hell, I'm starting to like them a lot again.
Mainly Pain of Salvation, such catchy tracks that I forgot I had all this time.
Neal Morse, I listened to his latest album and wow, what great tracks - Jesus and all!
Some new bands are catching on too - Amaran's Plight, Vanden Plas, Redemption, etc...
Funny thing is, I've always had these bands on my playlists but never bothered to listen to them until now. I've been missing out.
Anyways, on topic:
Has anybody noticed that John Petrucci is a huge fucking secksy beast now?
Holy shit.

I'm listening to Octavarium, and I'm not feeling particularly great at the moment... not in the illness way, but the upset way.
And I have to say, I Walk Beside You is a fucking much better song when you're depressed.
I don't know why, its making me feel worse, but like, I dunno... I'm liking it.
