Where exactly do you live?
Octavarium. It's not only my favourite song on the album, but my 3rd favourite Dream Theater song.
I wouldn´t rate it that high on my fave DT songs, i actually have to say the first 12 minutes or so are a little bland for DT, afterwards though it does get alot better.
At 11/27/07 11:10 AM, Dark-Phire wrote: Octavarium, of course. Next to that would be... Panic Attack. TOETAPPER.
I kinda like Panic Attack more than Octavarium ;/

I´m listening to it now as i type this up, and i must say it´s pretty damn good too. Very similar to DT, maybe with a slight touch of jazz. I downloaded 2 albulms so i´ll have a listen. Vocalist is good though.
I'll be seeing my sister and her boyfriend and we've planned to do several stuff while I'm there. :)
What is ´several stuff´? Been to London before?

Meh. I can understand that people don't like the first half of the song, but I like it.

Such as Playing on Team Fortress 2, possibly watching Beowulf, going to a restaurant, going to the shops, etc.

Never heard of it :/ You don´t speak like a scouse do ya?

It´s ok. I wouldn´t say it´s bad or anything, but the change is a bit radical. I prefer ACoS alot more, it´s perfect from start to end.

How long you staying? And what part of London?

All I've heard is Constant Motion and their Master of Puppets (entire album) cover. I have to say it was very good. For a band that have been around for a while they manage to sound very modern. Any standout tracks/albums worth getting?

I´d recommend ´Images and Words´ for a standout albulm. Will blow your mind. Never heard anything similar, or as good (apart from their other albulms).

I'd say all of their albums are worth getting (dunno about When Dream and Day Unite, though since I haven't listened to it), except for Falling Into Infinity, which I thought wasn't very good.

When Day and Dream Unite is good.

I've given it a lot of times, but the album just bores me. :(

We all know I'm the obvious leader.
Seeing as:
A - I'm a Dream Theater obsessive.
B - I'm just generally great.
Of course, Bahamut will disagree, but he has his knickers in a twist, and regardless, he's only one person.
So save yourself the effort of responding Andy-pandy :). You're very predictable and its not really worth the effort :) <3.

I´d probably say yeah, you could be the leader of this club. Not that being leader of the club is anything really :/
Of course, Bahamut will disagree, but he has his knickers in a twist, and regardless, he's only one person.
Lol, ofcourse he will disagree. He will always disagree with you.
AND NOW....a little something that caught my attention the other day;
So i was driving to work the other morning, and i put Octavarium on and listened to panic attack. After it finished ´Never enough´ came on (obviously, being the next track), but when i arrived at work and stopped and was going to take the radio out, the screen caught my attention. Take a look for yourselves ;)
