true, i was thoinking of doing frames by hand and then scanning them into flash, would that be too much memory used to scan?

The frame rate will be low as hell and the file size over the roof.

use the vertex tool to make the curves just right, and the smooth/straighten tools

get a graphics tablet, so u can draw straight into flash there is a good wacom volito one for sale for 30 dollars and it rocks, and comes wiv alot of bundled software and cordless mouse.
