Why are people ether complete pussies of the rain (e.g. "OH NOES! IT'S SPITTING WITH RAIN! WE'LL GET WET!") or love it that bit too much (e.g. "I love the rain, it's calming and peaceful")?
I don't mind the rain myself, just as long it isn't pelting down too hard, I really don't mind it. Even if it is chucking it down, I am able to walk through without a coat just fine. There are some people who can't stand getting the slightest bit wet at all and they freak out when they see puddles.
Then there are idiots who find a thunderstorm "calm" and "relaxing". The kind of people to go to the beach with a t-shirt when it's bouncing down with rain hard enough to put dents in car bonnets. They'll then think they're normal.
Just to let you know, I am a cold weather person. I prefer the cold weather and I enjoy windy weather. I wouldn't go out though in the middle of the hurricane though or a tornado just to enjoy the wind. Hell, I wouldn't go out just to enjoy the wind. Just if it's windy when I am out, it's great.
