Nikola Tesla perceived the world as a conductor of acoustical resonance...

Tesla was a god.

Jack White did interest me in Tesla.

But it wasn't the White Stripes song that mentions him, which is Astro, by the way.

Tesla was almost godlike. He created AC current, the tesla coil, and HE created the radio. Marconi the guy credited with creating the radio is a fucking rip off bitch.

He made a huge fucking lightning bolt, but i forget how. Were it not for Edison and General Motors, all of his inventions would be in much more common use.

Tesla > Edison

Alternating Current meant we have reduced number of electrical wires and lesser risk of electrical fires, something Edison's Direct Current became known for.

Besides, if Tesla was around today we wouldn't have to worry about electric companies increasing our electric bills 400%. (I'm talking to you Illinois Newgrounds Users.)

Also, anyone see The Prestige? David Bowie as Nikola Tesla. Freaking awsome!

I'm intriqued by the story that he built a car that ran without any visible power source, apparently he used some radio tubes. He claimed it had something to do with 'ether', a matter later proved not to exist. So how did he do it? How did he run the car?
