Well not exactly "pro", but i need to import a full .fla into a scene in macromedia flash 8.
Is there another way to do this than just copying and pasting the frames?

Agh, I don't think so. You gotta copy/paste. But I would suggest first putting the whole scene into one movieclip, then copy/pasting that. It's easier that way.
And if you get library conflict, DON'T change the symbols. Delete the imported scene, go back to the original .fla and change the names of the affected symbols. then try again. You'll understand what I'm talking about if it happens. Hopefully.

are you sure that it has to be a fla?

you can import an swf straight in at run-time, i think its using loadmovie or something like that
