Net Neutrality would mean that our ISPs can't choose which sites load faster or even at all for us. It makes sense for this to be in place since the Internet is an open world, right?

Well, if the US government decides to do away with Net Neutrality, this would mean your ISP can choose this. Say, for instance, your ISP wants to make it so that rival ISPs' websites do not load at all. It can do that. Or perhaps Microsoft will pay all ISPs money so that Google doesn't load well.

Well if there are any smart ISP's out there, they should not take advantage of this. If all other ISP's take advantage of this, then the one smart ISP will get more customers because no one would want to have to put up with that bullshit. So by taking advantage of this, ISP are just kicking themselves in the balls.

Amen to that. What about some servers? Will they have the same connection speed?

Notice that's just the House. The bill has to pass Senate if it were to become law.

what really happends is smaller sites that dont pay up wont load at all or very slowly, while say, amazon who does pay up gets normal to faster speeds.
thats not even going into how they can censor w/e they want as well.

Well, to be honest, I never liked politicians anyway. Besides, looking at porn is legal, so why do you care so much.

Besides the fact that you have no e-privacy whatsoever.

The ISPs will just make the petition site not load.

If I ever gave enough of a shit about a fucking internet site to care if I didn't ever visit again because they started charging for it, that is the day I shoot myself in the fucking face because I am a loser.
