I love Pixar. Since normal Disney is unoriginal and sucks anyway. It went from good, to ok, to LOL DEMOGRAPHIC. But Pixar movies are amazing. It's like, okay, everyone's jumping on the 3D animation bandwagon. But most do it just for popularity and give us shit movies like Madagascar and Chicken Little. The animation in them has absolutely, positively no soul.
It's all for quick profits nowadays. But Pixar's animation has a soul of creativity. They are great. The people who made that movie, Finding Nemo? Saw a screening of the whole movie? They all cried during the Jellyfish sequence. They cried because of the hours of hard work and programming. And making it into art. All of them. I don't blame them, it's a beautiful scene. But they did something with that scene.
They gave the whole movie a living, breathing soul. They didn't gve them shitty catchphrases like, "I like to move it move it" or the Numa Song or some shit. Not some stupid, overused jokes for profit. My Mom cried during her watching of a Pay Per View showing of Madagascar. You know why? It was SHIT. And she wasted her money.
There's tons of 3D animation in the world. But Pixar characters don't spend most of their time talking to move a story along, cracking shitty jokes and parodying pop culture. The animation isn't just some mediocre puppy or a chicken. Yes, people can render each bit of fur and hair and they have to do it individually. But there's more to movies than just making a profit. Pixar is the last original thing that Disney had left. But it works.
Bravo, Pixar. Bravo.
