A friend told me about it but I didn't join until like a month after. He told me he had been coming on this site since 01 but didn't know you could make an account. What a dumbass!

My brother and I were addicted to Stickdeath.com, and a friend told me we could find more like it at NG.

Yeah, not too exciting.

I saw some people playing rooftop skater and I wanted to play it. So I memorised the site link and played it on another computer.

My friend showed me the game Exmortis a few years back. That is how I found out about Newgrounds.

Back in 2001, my step-brother told me about it. I didn't know how to join until in 2005 when I found out but I only joined to submit my movies. Now I stay here for the BBS and still post movies.

My bhuddist friend recommended it, and about a half year later I joined for the flash portal.

i found the NG website when i was a little boy. From my older sister.

I found NG by searching for an image of a goomba, then found a flash called 'Goombas are bad pets' and I laughed at it so hard. Then I saw that it was part of a whole Mario Parodies collection and I thought 'This is very, very good!' 2 days later, I signed up and said good riddance to a certain website worse than Myspace and 4chan.

Me and my friend were looking for Dragonball Z stuff on the interweb about 5 years ago and we found Eskimo Bob on newgrounds. It was like the best thing on the internets for us at the time cause we didn't bother to look at any other videos. Then, about 3 years later, I came back to newgrounds after I stopped loving DBZ, and I noticed that there was TONS of other stuff on newgrounds.

My nephew (older than me) told me about Ultimate Showdown and I checked it out.It was cool but then I saw other flashes which made me switch from stickpage to newgrounds.I regularly watched stuff in 06 and I got an account in 07 I found the bbs over a year after I found newgrounds.

I was looking for decent flash and found NG in 1999(first thoughts: best site ever!), left(mostly) and made an account in 2007. When I was on NG everyone else in my class was on the Dragonball Z site(faggots).

I realised this was where all the anime in the virtual world existed, so I just had to join up. Wait, sorry, I'm not a fat 13 year old.

You tell me, a friend intoduce me to Newgrounds back in 2002 and it wasn't until 2007 that I decided to create an account.

I was watching madness on gigamer.com then a friend told me some game of it was released on newgrounds.com i checked it out and liked the site!

3 years ago i was seachering through the bloody fields of stickman dead and injurned then right after my 1250 kill's. one said'spare me and i will give a powerplace' so i agreed and then i found newgrounds... i wonder what hapen to that stick dude.

A friend of mine posted a link to the Impossible Quiz game. After that I registered. The rest is history.

i first found NG on a link from crazy monky games. i think the game was stickman sam or something. im not shure.

I saw a kid playing a first person shooter game a LONG LONG LONG LONG time ago back before there even was a portal on newgrounds.

He introduced me to Newgrounds, Then lately, I registered.

I was looking for Legend of Zelda hentai on Google back in September, and I found a site in Russian. Normally I can't understand Russian or read the Cyrillic alphabet, but hentai translates perfectly into all languages. I ended up downloading LilDwarf's Legend of Zelda Simdate RPG, which, since it was meant for NG, has many Newgrounds references. I played it, and thought, "Hey, maybe I should go to this 'Newgrounds'. Who knows, it might be fun!" A few weeks later, I came to NG.
