For the contacts, does it update along with someone changing their name. For example, if I were to add person X to my contact list, but the next day he changes his name to person Y, will the contact list change with him, or will I have to manually change it?

I don't know if this is what you mean... but... When you click "Contact Author" it automatically takes you to the PM page.
I think that's what you're talking about at least.

This pm system needs a notifacation system for when you get a new pm. Maybe a popup notifacation or something that will flash to get your attention.

I am guessing it saves the user id so you wouldn't have to change it yourself like in the portal buddies.

Don't know if someone has already said this, but I have a suggestion. I'd like to be able to read the messages that I have sent in addition to the ones I've received. I'd also enjoy being able to check the status of my messages (if and when someone has read them). This being said, its a great feature that you have added. Personally, I enjoyed coming into my profile one day, innocently expecting the usual page and then BLAM! no wait. I mean BAM! "INBOX" It was pretty exciting. I was all, "Woah!" It was all, "INBOX!" Then I came over here and found this thread and said, "Woah! Inbox!"

Does this PM system even have a limit on the ammount of messages? It doesn't say anything like "You have 0 messages out of a maximum ammount of 100" or something.

It would be neat to integrate the whistle system into abusive PMs, although, I can see that getting backed up just like the portal whistles.

Maybe if a user reports it as abusive, the Mods gain permission to view the particular message in order to judge accordingly.
