IF I COULD ONLY UNDERSTAND YOU!!! gnarl, i know someone has already mentioned your HORRIBLE spelling, but STILL, its so freakin hard to decipher what you mean...!

my opinion on the media is this: you cant really trust the media, but you have no other choice. either you dont watch/read/listen to the news, then youre out of its way and dont have to worry about believing it or not, or you do watch/read/listen to the news, and then... well, then i guess you have to decide for yourself. its always good to not stick to only one tv station/newspaper/website/radio station, but check with a lot of different sources to find out what MIGHT BE the truth.
but if you have ever watched wag the dog or if you believe in conspiracy theories... the media is supposed to control the powers of government by informing the members of a democracy about whats going on, but who knows if its not really the other way around and government uses the media to bullshit the people and maintain its power? you can never be sure. but as soon as the media stops criticizing the government or only shows one perspective on something, you should become suspicious.

The media cannot be really trusted on. Basically, most newspapers got several dozens of journalists for hire writing articles. All that one government or the other needs to do is to offer a good bribe to one of such journalists and that journalist will write in favor of that government or politician. You know, one has big expectations of the media, but they are, after all, people like us. And lets be honests, if you would accept a bribe, why wouldn't a journalist? Besides nobody really cares to find the ultimate truth in most cases.
