Why do you think the Audio Portal was made? Anyway, if you get some music, either gratis (that means for free) or by paying, you don't own it. You merely have a licence (contract) which you have agreed to, which says (usually) that you cannot copy it or lend it to people. Only works which do not have copyright, either because the author waived their rights to the work ("Do what you want with my music" for instance) or because they have died and the copyright has expired (these 2 types are said to be in the "Public Domain"), are you free to do what you want with. You can charge for your Flash which contains them and you don't even have to give credit to the author. You do get works which are under licence, but some nicer licences than the usual ones. For instance magnatune.com makes use of the Creative Commons licences, which mean you are often free to listen to and copy the music, but you may not be allowed to use it in your own work, or sometimes if you do your work must be put under the same Creative Commons licence. These are the three main types of copyright (harsh proprietory, none and limited)
