........after the Bible showed up?

Before the Bible was written God was so active. There was a divine intervention every few days. Miracles, plagues, the wrath and love of God was emminent and paced often. Plus the guy was always yammering on to someone. God talked to his people, he made appearances, he made his presence known on a regular basis.

So after the Bible came out... Where did God go?

Was he like "Oh shit, you're writing this down?!" and disappeared?

I want to know how the faithful explain this.
I go from a thinking mans standpoint, not a believing man's. I'm positive the Christian God (like many others) was created after the Bible was written, not prior to it. And exists soley through faith and religious practice, and in no other true form. I feel God exists in ourselves, if we so choose to have a "God".

If he is indeed real, and the Bible is a book of truths, where is God now? Why did he stop showing up?

Yes, the Bible is real. No, God did not disappear.

You know, if you actually did some research, you would see that he still loughs around...

If you're gonna use the Bible as reference, he "took a break" from "active duty" when Jesus appeared. Now he's chilling until the return of Messiah, and the apocalypse.

I know I'm an asshole. Reminding me is redundant.

Maybe he got lynched by all the other gods who'd be trying to keep up a code of non-interference.

My guess would be that once the bible was made, he didn't have to show up anymore because the bible would tell the people what happened so he didn't have to waste anymore time trying to speak to the people personally. Either that or God wants to see how the Human race does without much of his help.

well, considering that most people think of the works of God being actual works of God anymore, it just appears that way.

if you look at the Bible, it says stuff like "and God sent a goat to Elijah." If that were to happen nowadays, you'd think "By coincidence, Elijah stumbled upon a goat."

He's probably riding the profits from the bible, he doesn't need to work anymore. God's in a lazy-boy somewhere in honolulu.

Well I guess god was a lot more demonstrative, back when he flamboyantly parted the sea,
Now everybody's prayin', Don't pray on me...

I bet he's off somewhere, laughing his ass off with all his immortal friends. The universe is his equivalent of one of those random, stupid flash animations on Newgrounds.

"Hey guys, look at this funny piece of shit I made!"

"rotfl, you're a riot God, make more!"
