Battle stances everyone!

i'll probably re-draw regulus's hands. the katars didn't turn out very well.

and, i couldn't really find this on google, does anyone know where you can get sounds from n64 games or where you can find out how to rip the sounds?

you really gotta redo his hands. :3 regulus was a GREAT boss in that game.

I got some kickass ridley battle music from there.

Thanks for correcting my grammer. A big part of me is russian, and that also means I can't pronounce "th" well. Anyway, so I was wondering, in my game, since its kirby, can I enable the user to actually use their microphone to suck in metaknight and stuff? It's not technically disobeying any rules, but I want to make sure.

I'm still not 100% sure if i'm going to do that yet, i have several projects on the go not sure if i'll have time.

Thought youd mention it. Well, i have a very messed up way of doing things...

See, i didnt want to GO into duplicating, so im using the same MC for all the missiles.

Like, when space is pressed, the missile goes visible and moves upwards and decreases in scale. After it reaches a certain size, or hits ridley, it goes invisible again, and returns to its original possition.

But its gotten even messier... I'll have a go at redoing it in a while after im done with my homework.

And Kayn, thats great stuff! You already on finals or are you done? :D Congrats.

DFB i'd suggest you do duplicating. At least show the bullets for the normal gun. It would make it much better right off the bat. Try so for the missiles or put the explosion in a seperate clip or something, maby make the missiles come out of the gun too. And home in a little bit. That would rox.

I wanted them to home, thats what i was exactly aiming for. For some reason though, when ridleys' x was bigger, the missile would go to the left. Meaning the opposite. I triple checked that.

Plus, do missiles really come from samus' gun? And im going to add gunfire. But not right now, im a bit busy with the missiles.

Thanks for the tip Glaiel, i guess, if theres nothing else to do, ill have to go with attaching.

yes

Also the gun "opens up" right before you fire a missile and stays that way till you fire another shot.

Things you need:
Charge Shot
Super Missile
Ice Beam
Plasma Beam
Wave Beam
More Missiles
Samus Health

And you could do stuff like have ridley zoom forwards at you, spewing fire. Maby have the background move and scroll a little to make it feel more 3D. You can do a lot with this and you have 3ish months so make it awesome!

Cool. Another WoW Boss. But I worry though - fighting Thrall isn't exactly something everyone does on a regular occasion - mainly because from what I've heard, he spawns a Level ?? (61+) Elite on the server cooldown for every Alliance player in his throne room.

I'm personally sticking with Deadmines. Though I'd love to see someone do Molten Core or Blackwing Lair...

And you could do stuff like have ridley zoom forwards at you, spewing fire. Maby have the background move and scroll a little to make it feel more 3D. You can do a lot with this and you have 3ish months so make it awesome!

Yeah! My idea is to have ridley after he flies for a bit go and stop far away, flap his wings for a few secs, then he charges at you and throws fire. There will appear a random button sequence on the stage a few seconds before he attacks, so that if you get it right, you can evade the attack, or at least diminish the damage he causes.

After a while, i also want to make it that he loses his wings, and he walks and crap. =D This is going to kick so much ass.

About the background, now, i hadnt thought of that, :P

i would definately work on fixing the missile's movement now. Make them fire towards the aimer and then home in on the boss. And restrict the movement of the gun to the open part of the visor

you mean, the movement of the aimer? I can do that.

Im going to set a home point variable, so that that variable will be the _x and _y of the aimer. And throw the misile towards it, and after its reached it, have it so that if the missiles_x is lower than ridley, blah blah blah it will play a sideways missile frame. And you get the rest, explosion, big boom.

Is it just me, or should i make MetaRidley much stronger?

Also, while youre online, Glaiel, can i use music? I found this kickass piece of metal Ridley music in metal, its a bit big, but... its worth it. =D

And i cant find any sounds. ='(
