Ok so i had this idea for a collab. It's a GAME collab. I have flash 8 so you can use filters in it if you want.

FPS: 30
Screen Size: 550x400 (default)
BG color: Default.
Due Date: Probably august sometime, i'll let you know as the collab progresses.

Make your entire game in a movieclip, execute the following line of code when you beat the boss:

_root.win();

and _root.lose(); if you die.

The subject of this collab is simple. Take any boss from any videogame and remake it in flash! You should add something new to the boss, though, to make it interesting. Everyone must do a different boss, so please post what boss you are doing. First come first serve. I'll try to put everyone i can in the collab.

Sprites are OK to use considering it's a game remake collab.

I call the first boss of sonic the hedgehog (the ball swinging one) so none of you competing in the AS arena can use your challenge piece in this collab :P. Plus it's my favoritest boss ever and i got some cool ideas.

Also, i dont need a menu screen for the games cause I want it to flow fast. Just flash the controls on the screen and start the action of the boss fight. No tutorials, no title screens, no game over screens.

Can two people submit one piece on this, like one person on AS and one on art? I think it would be interesting if some artists brought in their own art style to some of the bosses.

if you want an artist to help that's your decision but only 1 of you gets to be coauthor if the game is good cause everyone needs a fair chance at it.

i think ill do one of the bosses from legend of zelda, either Ganon or somebody else.

if you want to you can make more than one but i want you to do only one at a time so you don't take too many of the popular bosses.

I can't really think of any right now...i wanted sephiroth really but still...I'm gonna have to carry on googling. In fact no, I'll take Revolver Ocelot me thinks. I have a great idea for that.

Eww. Do Sephiroth vs the whole party and have like everyone have 1 trillion hp. Then you can make a super nova movie and stuff and make it awesome with cool 3d looking art. Cloud vs seph sucks, no offense, all you do is click omnislash and win. :/

May I join your flash collaberative. I'm actually a lot better than I look. If so, I'll take the first pokemon battle you have with Garry. (I've always wanted to reanact it with better graphics and stuff.)

Actually sounds like a crazy ass good idea! I'll think about it. Platformers are my specialty =P I'll look for some sprites or something of a good game that I used to play with some good bosses.

I'm going to make it a little harder, also I want to go mad with API special effects on the omni-slash. I dont want to have to make more characters and a bunch of attacks to recreate a less memorable boss.

Here are ten or so more ideas that i'm allowing anyone to use just to throw out there. I tried to pick a lot of games that most people would've not thought of, using more of a variety of game play.

SOME MORE IDEAS OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE THAT I DONT PLAN TO USE:

1. super mario world - mario vs bowser

2. starfox - fox vs andross (the reflecty face dude that spits mirrors at you)

3. donkey kong country 2 - diddy and dixie vs k. rool (and his cannons that can give you reverse control and stuff)

4. super mario rpg - mario + mallow + geno (the best characters :P ) vs ANY BOSS IS GOOD - to name a few: culix, bundt (the cake), booster (and have him say gay jokes during the battle), belome (dog with tongue), axem rangers, or smithy with his multiple forms

5. mike tyson's punchout type game

6. diablo - character (of choice) vs diablo himself

7. mortal kombat - character vs goro (four arms)

8. phantasy star - characters vs dark falz

9. ALIEN HOMINID - alien hominid vs the soviet union robot

10. chrono trigger (snes vers.) - chrono and party vs any boss (last one, even >_> )

Alright, there's some ideas for those of you with none. If you have an idea use yours though! (Even though mine may be better ^_^ )

Another one just popped into my head at the last second. You could get real creative and make it so you start with a random super smash character and battle master hand. That'd take a lot of work but could look cool.
