Ok.... i think there decent. SO yes emo lerics and all but they are still ok. You know the instramental songns on bolth of the origional CD's? Theose 2 songs are the only thing i rally like about them. Why i have them as a favorite band in my profile i don't know. Just filling space i suppose,

hmm... your kind of new here. I know lots of people in the BBS hate LP. It's like Runescape. normally when someone says they ike either one, they get flamed because no one here.. well.. the old regulars, don't like those to things.. anyways.. Well, I don't really know many of their songs, but from what I've heard, I quite like the actual music itself, though the lyrics are pretty whiny. In my opinion, a song should be more about the instrumentals, I tend to ignore lyrics. Hence I like them, but I wouldn't call them one of my favourite bands or anything.

I DID LIKE THOSE! But because I thought it was band trying to purposely be gayer than Limp Bizkit for comedic value. Then I heard they took themselves seriously and all of a sudden those songs got even funnier.

Anyone who has seen the Live in Texas DVD or the Collision Course DVD cannot dispute the fact that they got talent. I'm mostly into rap but it just so happens that Linkin Park are one of my favourite bands its also the only band to which i own legit coppies of all their CD's, that includes Fort Minor and Collision Course as well.

Linkin Park isn't a bad band, it's just that they are extremely overrated. They take themselves too seriously, their lyrics seem to be written by 14 year old emotional retards, and they appeal to annoying brats who have the same hardcore, shed-a-tear attitude. Instrumentally, they are fairly enjoyable and Chester Bennington can sure hammer out the notes, but so can Cher.

So, like most bands, they're nothing special, but as long as people buy their records there will be people to make threads of message boards about how much they suck. Enjoy them or don't, but don't pick fights over them.

Also, it's fun to quote Linkin Park to emos.

the problem with linkin park is that they push up and hard that they are an alternative metal band, and all real rockers just hate them. Well actually real rockers hate alternative in general. And besides that, they are just too boring. Same old problems, same lyrics.. u know
