..Ya.. I need help making a replay button.....Sad isn't it??

This shows up all the time:
**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Replay, frame=420:Line 1: Mouse events are permitted only for button instances
on(press){_root.B.gotoAndPlay(2);}

I have a feeling I missed something very simple...I just started ActionScripting today and it's really annoying....

Well that error would mean that your replay button isn't a button. It's a movie clip. That's a problem. When you convert it symbol you need to check the button box.

ok well basically you havn't put the actionscript for the button on the button. You may have put it on the frame by accident.

I checked and it was a button but I WAS putting it to the frame not the button itself. TY for help!
