Yes I do, but I fear the UN-countries who don't agree with Bush (France, Germany and Belgium) now are going to agree with Bush anyway, because they don't want to lose their membership.

We all know the United States has the power to obliterate the planet, with plenty of nukes to spare. The reason Iraq isn't searching the United States is because we aren't in direct violation of any UN or NATO treaties. Iraq refuses to give up their weapons, even when the UN and many nations are coming together against them. Iraq is blatantly hiding weapons of mass destruction. We all know the United States has thousands of nuclear bombs, there is no secrecy here. The UN has the same right to search the US as they do Iraq, but since Iraq is the country violating the treaties, they are forced to go into the country to do whatever they can to prevent war. War is almost inevitable now, so I think all we can do is sit back and wait. The fact that the US has nukes shouldn't scare you, they aren't going to detonate one on US soil. Attack the US? We wipe you off the map, period. Nukes aren't the only weapons of mass destruction. There are also biological and chemical weapons. Stop worrying, you probably live in rural Oklahoma, there is no reason to worry about an attack there. Watch some more TV, read a book, hell fry your brain on your computer, as long as you stop listening to the press blab on and on so you can misinterpret it.

Sorry for double post. I'd also like to add that the US doesn't control the UN, and that no countries will lose their "membership" except Iraq. This isn't a damned library where your membership expires after a year. The UN is much more complicated than you make it seem. The US is nowhere near world domination, and never will be, it's not even possible as they hardly even rule OUR nation, it's why we have the government we have today. Without it, we wouldn't even be a spec on the radar.

For my first post i would like to say hi.
next i would like to say that i support an invasion of iraq.
Im posting out of pure rage for the ignorant that would rather make dull witted comments instead of learing as much on the situation as possible.
Im very sick of the bush hate band wagon protesters. Sick of the human shields. Sick of "war for oil" and im sick of inspect the usa.
Its very childish and ignorant.
Though most anti war protesters do not want to see both sides of a possible war and would rather remain ignorant.
In my opinion kids shouldn't try to debate politics.
I've taken an active effort in trying to under stand both sides of the debate and have worried what will happen in the long run.
But iraq, or should i say saddam hussien, will never have my support. Learning from migrants who witnessed his fascism first hand.
One iraqi soldier who fought for saddam during the first gulf war for example.
He never like the US army, of course. But he said he never hated the US as much as Saddam after seeing the guts and limbs of his country man hung around in trees, after Saddam sent in tanks to clear an "anti-Saddam" protest a short time after the gulf war.
Funny how some people can sit behind their computers nice and safe and claim that Saddam isn't a threat to anyone as long as we don't provoke him
Another talked about being in a prison in iraq. 7 men had simply raised their hands to ask a question and were executed because of it.
No wonder you don't see iraq civilians on television showing support for an invasion. Im sure allot of them live in fear under a dictatorship rule.
Saddam has used chemical nerve agents on his own people in rural locations and I've watched the videos of dead women, children, and men alike laying in the streets.
To let this go unpunished is a horrible thought.
Since the trade embargo was put onto iraq 1 million iraqi civilians have starved to death. without a new government in power its estimated that another 1 million will die of starvation in half the time.
You think saddam gives a crap about his people?
if he did more money would be going into its economy and feeding the people instead of his hundreds of palace's over iraq. He lives the high life.
Now war for oil? please!
The oil issue is worth some extended discussion. The familiar mantra "No War for Oil" takes on an interesting meaning when discussing these countries, and France in particular. A war in Iraq would have very negative effects on French economic prospects in the region. (Why they would have obviously positive effects for the U.S. is something best explained by the antiwar crew, because it is not evident to me.) France is currently Iraq's most favored trading partner, and is heavily involved in Mideast regional energy development. The French energy giant Total Fina Elf recently brought the world's largest offshore natural gas field online in southern Iran, along with Russian natural gas firm Gazprom and the Malaysian company Petronas. Total Fina Elf also has multibillion-dollar oil contracts with Iraq, but because of U.N. resolutions, these contracts have not been signed and cannot be executed until sanctions are lifted. The Russian form Lukoil had a similar $4 billion agreement to develop the Iraqi West Qurnah oil field, but an indignant Saddam recently nullified the deal when Russia established contacts with the Iraqi opposition. Seems like Saddam can't trust anybody these days.
France would also be benefiting from billions of dollars on building radio towers in iraq on top of that.
The Russian imperialists have huge investments in Iraq and long-standing relations with its current government. The New York Times reports (Oct. 17) that Russian companies control the rights to sell 40 percent of Iraq's oil on world markets. And the Russian capitalists are way ahead in the real prize: One Russian oil company estimates that Russian companies have deals covering more than 70 billion barrels of oil--more than half of Iraq's reserves.
War for oil indeed. These countries don't care about war because there sole motivation is money and oil!
Im sure you ignorant bastards haven't even considered this yet have you?
Inspect the united states for weapons of mass destruction?
What a lame brain comment.
Its been over 50 years since america has used a nuclear weapon in a war situation. And that was to end a world war!
An invasion of Japan would of resulted in the deaths of 10 of millions instead of a couple hundred thousand.
For an invasion of japan gas warfare would of been used. Many more people would have died.
anyway to stay on topic america has these weapons. But a dictatorship like the current government in iraq wouldn't be afraid to use such weapons to terrorize the people around the country. the kurds, and the israelis for example.
Now. on to human shields. I've talked with a soldier in the 101st airborne. A combat engineer. so he works with and dismantles explosives.
He is a few months older than myself. has a wife, and father who fought in vietnam.
He has stated to me that human shield or not he is not going to die because of hesitation to attack.
He says that he will do anything it takes to get back to the wife he loves.
He also says that he hopes as many iraqi soldiers surrender that did in the first gulf war. He doesn't enjoy killing but will do what is necessary.
Remember. Its not a soldiers job to create war...But to bring it to an end...
In closing id like to say that i feel in the long run the world would be a much more better place without saddam hussien.
I hope I've swayed a few opinions here by actually using my brain to try and inform instead of making stupid childish comments.
well thats all for now. Im canadian so dont think of me as the typical american war monger. id rather see saddam step down from power instead of an invasion but since that is highly unlikely i support action.

I didn't say IRAQ should search the USA, I meant SOMEONE must, no matter who.

Yeah, but if Saddam Hussein uses one of them, his whole country will be destroyed! Do you think he is that stupid? I don't.

After the war, they can always start searching the USA.
War is almost inevitable now, so I think all we can do is sit back and wait.
Wait for what? Until the whole world get eliminated?
I think we schould have DONE something to stop this war! Now it is too late and Bush placed his troops already, and they are waiting for his sign to attack. We should've done something WAY sooner!!!
The fact that the US has nukes shouldn't scare you, they aren't going to detonate one on US soil.

No, but they could destroy whole countries, and by the way, I don't even LIVE in the USA! Read my PROFILE! It says: Middelburg, NL. Does that sound like the United States to you? I live in the netherlands!

Yeah, I don't really get the whole thing. I don't see why WE are allowed to have assloads of weapons of mass destructions simply because we're the "peace-makers" If we were the peace makers we would cast aside our weapons and actually TALK peace. Other countries probably have their nuclear bombs and deadly gas bombs in order to protect themselves FROM the US. I'm an American, and not very proud to be one right now. The US is seen as a big brute by many other countries, and if someone does so much as look at us funny, we get right in their face and tell them to fuck off or die. So I ask you, is that being a peace-maker? I don't think so, but to each their own, I suppose.

You all make some good points, and I respect them.
I don't think you understand what I was saying though.
Iraq must comply with UN orders to lay all of their weapons of mass destruction out on the table. The United States is permitted to have the weapons they do have, and it is the most powerful country in the world. This has much influence on how the world is going, but the US is not a rogue nation, we don't have a voice we need to be heard. We don't kill innocent people because our "religion" tells us to. You cannot DESTROY a whole country with a nuke, maybe a large city, but definitely not a whole country. It is physically impossible, and the fallout shadow would be incredibly devastating. Pretty much what I'm saying, is don't worry about North Korea dropping a nuke on LA, or Saddam trying to get his weapons over here. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. I know we all have our opinions, but searching the US isn't even possible, and that is a concrete fact.

I hope those protests all around the world will do something about the war "against terrorism" (read: for oil) in Iraq.
There are other ways to find a solution to this problem. Actually, the onlyy problem is Saddam being the president of a country he is reglecting.
This is said too many times, but say it again: I'm AGAINST the war against Iraq!!!

What was the outcome of his search?
The USA gave Iraq the tools and elements to make the weapons they have now. After the Gulf started, America became anti-Iraq and told them to destroy the weapons which were given to Iraq by them. Isn't that weird?
My point went waaaaay over your head there. Lemme try to spell it out to you again. THEY HAD THE WEAPONS. WE GAVE TEM TO THEM. THAT WAS WHEN EVERYTHING WAS PEACHY. THEN, SADAAM BECAME A CRAZY BASTARD. WE DONT WANT A CRAZY BASTARD TO BLOW PEOPLE UP WITH OUR WEAPONS. THUS WE WANTED HIM TO GET RID OF THEM. TURNS OUT, HE DIDN'T. You see? That's not really all that weird.
What will they find? Way more than they have theirselves.
Looks like the grammar fairy never blessed you with proper skills there. After much picking apart of that statement, I still can't find out what exactly the fuck you tried to say.
America will also hide them, because Iraq ofcourse may never know they have the weapons, and Bush will clame not to have weapons anyway, so that will be thesame situation.
Do you want Iraq to attack America then?
I don't know if you are an American, but I bet you are.
We spent fifty times more on military than every other country in the world combined. We can send missiles down people's chimneys. Bush could TRY hiding them, but he has way too many weapons of mass destruction, and sites to build them, to hide them. Also, whether I am from America or not, it doesn't matter really and shouldnt be taken into account. See me only as someone outside of this whole deal making an observation, you bigoted bastard. If I started yelling about how stupid, say, Africans are, I'd probably yelled at by a mod. And yet you find it right to stereotype Americans? I pity you.
What was the outcome of his search?
It was kind of cool, actually. He and these three iraqi guys took a bunch of pictures of various U.S. missiles and military bases, and put together a report as to how poorly the missiles are contained, and how they leak dangerous chemicals all over the place. He then tried to give this to Colin Powell, but he wouldnt take it from him.
Hey, no hard feelings.

Let's call a spade a spade:
The United States is the superpower. No one is going to tell us what to do. If they do, we'll consider them hostile. I'm not going to bother giving resources, as anyone with a brain can already tell that the United States is undisputed in its military power. We're going to enforce things on others until we lose that power. That's the way it's been for a long, long time.

I only wish it was as easy as that. But if all weapons are to be destroyed, no country would be the first one to do it. They fear to be attacked after they've destroyed their weapons, so that they have no chance of winning.

Actually we have the Nuke as a last resort. It is due to an idea called MAD or mutually assured destruction; if one nation starts firing off nukes the rest will as well in self defense, afterwards the few who do survive if any will perish on a planet no longer fit for life. That is what keeps nations from just nuking whenever they like.

This has to be one of most retarded topics I have ever read. Boco, your stupidity is lowering my IQ. Stop.
Seriously, if the US is considered dangerous because of its past and present "crimes" then every country in the world should be held to that standard. Every country in the world during its history has committed something that is considered to be "bad".
The UN is in no way the friend of the United States. The UN is a podium for anti-American shithole countries to voice their meaningless opinions. The UN is so lopsided that we were voted off the Human Rights Commission and replaced with Libya. Libya!!! I cant believe any of those UN people are taking my parking spot midtown. The UN is meaningless. Take away the US and it is the League of Nations all over again.
Disarming the US is impossible. As long as another country has a nuke it will never happen. We are the worlds leading economy and leading military force. We have to protect our interests. So what if we step on a few toes? Being the only superpower gives us a monopoly. There is a reason why we are called a SUPERpower. We are the dominant force in this world and some do not like this. That is why we have nukes.
Nukes in today's society are used mainly for posturing. The idea of total and utter destruction drives countries to seek other pathways to war. Diplomacy between major powers would not be as effective without the shadow of a nuclear weapon.
If you are going to search the United States for some retarded reason, why not search France as well? They have nukes. But they dont get searched because their method of fighting consists of raising the white flag. Thus their diplomacy has to be sharper than their swords and they are always overlooked. If everyone is so against the United States in France because of our perceived arrogance, military might, and nuclear weapons why doesnt France disarm and show us the "right" way to be a country?
Truth is, every country wants to be like the US, but since they cant, they bitch about it and brainwash their citizens into America hating zombies. Say what you will, but if your country suddenly became the most powerful in the world, you would defend it tooth and nail no matter what it did. Everyone is a hypocrite at heart.
But being the sole superpower isnt all fun and games. We are blamed for all the worlds troubles. The arabs deflect their corrupt government's woes onto the infidel americans, the Europeans identify their "unity" through America bashing, and everyone else picks and chooses times when their country isnt faring too well to pin it on the "evil empire" of the United States.

I'm just trying to make the point that the US can do whatever it likes to do! It already made France give in now, but I didn't know that when I made this topic. The point I was making when I made it, is that the US can go searching Iraq, because they know Saddam has that weapons. Why do they know that? Because they gave him the tools and materials to make them 20 years ago! Who will be next after the war? North-Korea? I think it will.
Every country in the world during its history has committed something that is considered to be "bad".
Why "bad"? Do you think it is not? Take the slavery. It might be over 150 years ago, but it's the source of racism. Is that "bad"? It is BAD! Why do you put it in quotation marks? That means you don't consider it bad.
The UN is in no way the friend of the United States. The UN is a podium for anti-American shithole countries to voice their meaningless opinions.
I think it might be good for America to hear that they are not perfect. Listen to yourselve! You also think that the US is the perfect country and other countries' opinions are meaningless. The arrogance...
The UN is so lopsided that we were voted off the Human Rights Commission and replaced with Libya. Libya!!! I cant believe any of those UN people are taking my parking spot midtown. The UN is meaningless. Take away the US and it is the League of Nations all over again.
The UN is there to prevent that the US does whatever it likes to do. At least, they try. The US has that much power that they can make countries with veto rights, which are against the war, give in. The US is weakening the UN, because France, for example, doesn't want to risk losing its membership, because they're against the US.
SOME do not like you to be the dominating force of this world??? No one does, even if they say they do.
SOME do not like you to be the "only superpower"??? If all countries come to stand against the US, the US will LOSE!!! How does that sound? The US losing a war? That will mean that the leading economy will become onother country. I know it will never happen that the whole world will attack the US, but deep in their harts, everybody doesn't want the US to be the dominating country. (Except for lots of Americans.)
You're totally right about that! That's why I want all countries to destroy their weapons. That won't happen, because no one wants to be the first to do that, because they will be the only country without weapons. Countries will also not destoy them, because they fear that other countries will only hide them and use them if the world is disarmed.
And what if the most powerful country of the world is Iraq? What if Iraq attacks the US? Would you be happy then?
That's what the civilions of Iraq are going through now. Fear and insecurity. Saddam must be expelled, ofcourse, but you may not do that destroying a whole country!
But being the sole superpower isnt all fun and games. We are blamed for all the worlds troubles. Because the USA doesn't have UN sanctions forbidding it to have Nuclear weapons, although biological and chemical weapons are not allowed in the Geneva convention either (which the USA is also not a part of).
The USA also doesn't have a 30 year history of war crimes and human rights violations.

The US might NOT be the leading economy! Think about Japan! Their economy is VERY good, too!
And China has got a HUGE army, so US might not be the wolds superpower, either!
That would mean the US is NOT the dominating force of this world! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

The US is the leading economy in the world. Japan was until recently the second followed by China. However, being a superpower is not solely dependant on the economic success of your country. To be a superpower, a country needs the leading economy, military and social/political dominance.
I wont respond to what you said in your previous post because a person with your arguments will never be turned the other way no matter how stupid or improbable the theories are.

Because the USA doesn't have UN sanctions forbidding it to have Nuclear weapons, although biological and chemical weapons are not allowed in the Geneva convention either
That's because the US has a veto in the UN, therefore they can't get a resolution passed against them.
The USA also doesn't have a 30 year history of war crimes and human rights violations.
Good point, their's is a 100 year history of it.

Yeah, good point, we learned from the best (the Europeans).
How did you get a 100 years anyway? Did that sound like a good number to use because of its many 0's? Do you like 0's? Are you a "0"?
Sounds like the majority of the people here have never opened a history textbook that didnt begin with "America is bad".

Do you even KNOW that more Russian soldiers died than the 6 million Jews?
I don't blame America in their help in World War II!
I blame America for the fact that they are going to destroy an entire countrie, just to get ONE man!

What country are you from again? I have to forward the details to Bush. Whatever "countrie" you are from, if you are their representative, deserves to be destroyed for the benefit of all the world.
Can you for once think about what you are posting?! You make it seem that American soldiers are going into Iraq to loot an pillage and to rape the women of Iraq. American soldiers according to you, shoot kids for fun and then roast their families. All the while destroying every piece of the land. I think you have been wathcing too much arab television.

I wont respond to what you said in your previous post because a person with your arguments will never be turned the other way no matter how stupid or improbable the theories are.
Why not? Because "a person with YOUR arguments will never be turned the other way no matter how stupid or improbable the theories are"!
Or maybe you just don't want to read my whole story, because you are a lazy sod!
Maybe Bush is your father and he's forbidden you to speak with anyone who doen't support this foolish war! (Though that might be non sense)
Anyway, please respond to my other reply, so I can see you are not lazy or the son of Bush!
