Some questions. 2006-05-28 13:32:13

Well I'm new to audio in general even if I've been playing the bass for a couple of years.

I plugged my bass in my computer and the only way to hear myself is to record it and play it again, is there a way that i can hear the line in at the same time it goes in?

And also a link to a free drum-machine, even bad, would be good.

Thanks alot.

you want to hear yourself whilst playing? get a soundcard or audio interface that has zero-latency monitoring.

you can monitor yourself in auido software but there is a delay and it's hard to playand keep in sync cos you try to compensate. buy sum head phones or whatever, but yea zerolatency monitoring is what you want.

also check the sticky for drums and shit. plenty of resources to help you out.
