Californians are annoying

Damn I hate californians. They have crappy taste in music. Not only do they think Green Day is punk (green day is chronologically post punk. Punk evolved into heavy metal in the mid 70's), they always preach on and on about how they know how to run everything. If you put a politician in a room full of californians, the whining would reach decibels more damaging than a jet engine.

Californians whine so much, their state accent actually IS whining. Pop singers don't sing whiny songs. Rather, they're just trying to sing songs that will be popular in San Diego. The vast majority of EMOs are from California.

Californians are the people who bitched and moaned and ran away from the eastern colonies, and couldn't find any place up to their pompous ass standard until they hit the coast. When they realized there wasn't anywhere else to go, they just pretended the coast was awesome just because they were there. You know, instead of a geological timebomb ready to blow out the Big One on any given evening, which is why noone else would live there.

So screw california. I'd rather live on a bluff off of a river surrounded by some of the world's best farmland than live off the coast of a balls cold ass ocean. Furthermore, I'll continue to encourage my thug ass north memphis gangsta friends to move to california, just so they can get their punk asses robbed.

In short, Everywhere Else>California. California is the ass of the North American continent, and Florida is the penis.

Are you for real? Punk music was never about talent, it was a means of expressing individual angst at a conformist world. I don't really even know how to put this, except you're wrong. A genre doesn't just stop existing, i give you, as an example, the Bad Religion anthology entitled 80-85. Yes, it's about all the punk music hey created between 1980 and 1985. They're still making punk music today. Heavy metal branched off of punk and traditional rock, yes, but it didn't replace them. Punk is not dead.
Don't believe me? Listen to some Anti-Flag, or NOFX, or just walk on down to the record store and look for the "punk" section. If you get there, and it says post-punk, then we'll talk.
