Why do celebrities try to make us have the same views on politics as them when they're all high school drop outs??? No offence to the drop outs....

Every American is allowed to state their political beliefs. And just because they are celebrities DOESNT mean they should be put on CNN... just adds more fuel to the fire of conservatives.

Personally I dont care what other people think, I have my own issues that I have developed throughout my life for whatever reason.

I hate it whenever some dumb ass celebrity gets a wild hair up their ass and decides that they have to let us all know what they think. Did we ask them? No! Are they elected officials? No! What do I care if Woody Haroldson is in favor of legalizing weed? He isn’t going to do anything more constructive or effective than anyone else working toward the same goal. Look at the guy, I doubt that people with the same agenda as he even take him seriously. Same goes for Charelton Heston, that guy makes anyone who owns a gun look like a fucking lunatic. I think it would be better if all these people would just shut the fuck up and stop taking up valuable news time.

Plenty of celebrities have plenty of opinions on plenty of stupid topics.

It's true. They have the same right as anybody to express their opinions.

What we need is a way to show that they should be RESPECTED as everybody else on the topic as well.

Celebs' opinions, sadly, are worth more.

Because we as bored, lazy Americans depend on them to tell us what shoes to wear, what fast food chains to eat at, and what stores to shop at. So politicians figure they can get celebrities to tell us who to vote for.

It is true that they have the right to voice their opinion but I like it when they preach to us. We didn’t ask them.

Nope, WE didn't, but the people with the big bucks did. So we lose.

The opinion of a celebrity is just as important as the opinion of you and me. Everyone has one vote. Celebrities do not have access to classified documents. They don't know any more than we do.

If I wanted to hear a lecture about politics, I would take a college class. Many of those professors at least have a PhD and experience working in the government.
