No way, it's got to be drowning, as long as your awake when it happens, because you know your gonna die you start panicing and that just makes it worse, which makes you panic even more and that makes it worse and it's just a big vicious circle until you die, that would suck.

Being burnt at the stake and being boiled alive aren't too bad, as with being burnt alive you choke before the flames engulf you and when you're boiled alive your body dies from shock after about half a second.
