Kingdom Hearts? Unoriginal? In a way, yes and no...
If you look at the characters, they use Disney (which I think is a horrible way to make them more popular) and Final Fantasty characters.
If you look at the gameplay and storyline of the game, that original.

The first four hours are intensely homosexual. The next 25 are so are pretty great though.

Plus, you get multiple blades, nearly all of which look nothing like a key.

Anyway. Kingdom Hearts is a great game, anyone who can't embrace thier inner child and accept thier love of Disney is dead inside.

Disney brought me many, many hours of viewing pleasure as a kid, and now, some of the best characters are brought back ( and adult-ised slightly ) in a kick ass RPG game.

I don't know. I played it and I thought the concept was very entertaining.

I played kingdom hearts 2. Sad... A giant key, keyblade.. WHERE THE HELL IS THE BLADE!!!! Too "emotional for a kids game" too childish for a teen game. And too uninteresting for adults, who i would assume would rather watch a rocket powered dump truck. I mean, who wouldnt.

He spends the whole time trying to defeat "heartless" who act on instinct and "nobodies " who... have no hearts? Isnt that.. heartless? wtf... Created when a person succumbs to emotions. Besides what is the concept of a key? The power to lock or unlock something. Control. The basis of the game is control over the heart and the game sets up the heart as one of the three most important parts of a living being. You can't just say, "you use a key, thats gay." Half of you probably have only seen a screen shot or heard a horrible summary. Tray a game before you start to critisize it. You'll be more intelligent.

Additionally, originality doesn't truly exist anyway. Everything is based off of something else. For story lines there are seven acknowledged archetypes that stories always follow. There is no story that doesn't in some way follow or combine the archetypes. So there is nothing original about anything out there. And if you feel there is name it, I'm sure it doesn't have half naked ducks.

Whats more, a few of you seem to be really bent up over the addition of disney - esque qualities that seem to put an immature twist on the story. Its true that at parts, being older myself, I feel a bit put off by it the story line, but a majority of it is actrually really well done, and the second one's storyline is much better than the first.

Perhaps the real problem with kindom hearts, is that its actually a game that doesn't require you to rip someone's head off or watch blood spew out of places it was never supposed to spew out of. Or perhaps it is the lack of course language because they actually talk in a fashion that is acceptable in normal everyday conversation.

You guys aren't just descensitized, you are narrowminded. Perhaps there are people out there who enjoy this kind of game. No one ever said you had to like it. No one ever said you had to buy it. There is no rule that says everyperson must buy this game. So I really don't see what the point of complaining is or why it bothers you.

Have u even played the game. It may sound stupid but its a good game. I beat the thing 5 times on proud (hard) mode and Im still playin it.
