has anyone received their sketchbook pages?
i havent -_- next week i hope :)

Ok so I'm in the process of wrapping up the mail outs. Heres the last bit of people on the list most of which are people i will be running into in person. if you dont see your name either i overlooked it and you should bring it to my attention or you have like no post history no movies and thus no real reason for me to have you take a page.

Damn thats awesome. This things gunna be bigger than what I was expecting, I can't wait to see what some people can do, because obviously most peeps are drawing with a mouse, therefore it's not your natural drawing style.. well you know. Stamper and Mindchamber here mostly i think.

Thats cool that Marc M will be doing something too, love his flashes too much, for some reason his site is not blocked in my school =D

Just a question about this. Are you expecting us all to push it all out and do the best art we've ever done? Or go for something that represents us, so for example just a page of doodles, but with some significence. I really feel like mines gunna look so bland compared to others after seeing everyones equipment list on the last page. Meh i'm going over the top.

Off topic// Luis, do you think you could take a camera to the mod meet up/comic con or anywhere NG related? Or anyone going to anything like this. It's cool to see NG people in person.

well, I really want to do this, and as I was skimming, I saw your one post about "people who don't have many movies so you can't see their drawing types". Well, I really wanted to do this, but most of the shit I do just isn't like enough for NG; I mostly just sketch and stuff. I mean, I think i can hold my own, It's just that I don't think you are giving lots of people a chance. I mean, I totally understand, Limited Space, but...still, i think I could do this, but, I'm just not big on movies.

Hmm I'm still thinking what to draw on the page, it's pretty difficult because all my submissions are like half well-known. But I'll think I have to go for Jack Russell 'cause that has the most views...

I just wish I were in the US right now. I live just an hour's drive from NG, so I could've had you give it to those guys and then I'd pick it up the next day.

Can't wait to see this thing completed.

Now I'm off to threaten these Thai postal workers into making sure I get my mail. Hopefully the package doesn't look like it would contain anything valuable...

Luis, if the pictures are gonna be hosted on newgrounds as an interactive thingy-ma-bob, does that mean that techinically you could send out as many pages as you wanted? Or are you still confined by the ammount of paper you have?

I'm going for, the best flash style work i've ever done, put on paper in the most creative way I can immagine. It's gonna be hard to make your work stand out from so many different fantastic artists.

Hmm, should we sign the work, or is there going to be some sort of banner to tell you what artist is on what page?

If I make the list for June, I plan splitting the page into a comic, some doodles and some full detail pictures. I'm just going to approach this as best as I can with a full range of pencils, some fixative, masking tape and a lightbox.

Oh. And I brought this up in another topic but, it's my 21st today. Whoo for another year...

i guess famous artists are going to draw stuff related to their famous movies or something alike.. i dont have many movies but i have crazy ideas for movies, so i guess that will help.

No, and the reason being is that if you were to draw on the back, it could rub off on the persons page behind yours and ruin their work. Stay on the front.
