"Da Vinci Code" bullshit.

I would like to state, for the record, that anyone who attempts to disprove or discredit the book "The Da Vinci Code" by noted science-fiction/fantasy auther Dan Brown is a complete and utter pussy. It's obviouse that these people want to disprove the entire "Jesus had Kids" theory, yet know they can not possibly win against anyone who know's what they are talking about, so instead of taking on books such as Holy Blood, Holy Grail they take on some poor sci-fi writer. I find it funny how they think that book is all fucking seriouse, yet you never see anyone talking about Angles and Demons (the first book in the Robert Langdon series, of which Da Vinci Code is part of) and going "My god, that's completely wrong! John Paul II's assistant didn't murder him with poison, them blame the entire ordeal on the Illuminati and placing an anti-matter bomb stolen from C.E.R.N in the vatican" (oops, spoilers). So if anyone would like to take part in it, I would now like to have a debate over the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail and other's like it, as well as their claims that Jesus was married and bared children with a female, and that the "Holy Grail" is refference to them.

I would also like to state that the book says "This work is fiction" (or something to that effect) in the very beginning.

Holy Blood, Holy Grail and The Templar Revelation were strongly opposed when they came out. The fuzz was just a little less, because back in the day people (the church) knew that negative press is also good PR.

I think that people who oppose the movie and the book are pretty ignorant, to be sure.

I myself am a Catholic, and I'm gonna watch the movie this Saturday, sure as shootin' (Ian Mckellen FTW!).

Still, Dan Brown made up a truckload of crap (historically speaking) in the book (or at least that's what my history teacher tells me, and he's an atheist). That alone shows you that all you have to do is just realize that he isn't actually trying to prove that Christ had a kid or not...he's just a book writer. He came up with a cool, innovative idea, and he wrote it down. So CHILL, anti-DaVinciCode people.

Your saying that the story as in people did believe that Jesus had kids. Thats not it, the author wrote a "What if" story of fiction about that. It wasnt ment to be serious, just a story.
