Anyone care to listen to the details?
Yes.
Alright then.
So I was playing a modified version of tag in the 4th grade with my buddies. We called it vermin, because whoever got tagged became a chaser, therefore it spread like a plague. I was one of the last ones left, and I tried to shake him off by running under a low, dense, metal platform.
Apparently, in my rush to get away from my persuer, I went up too early at full force and spli my head open along the metallic edge. At first i fell down to my knees in pain, clutching my head with my hands whileeverything went black, but I remember being concious because my persuer tagged me and ran away while I was on the ground.
After a few moments, the pain subsided and I returned to our 'base' where my other friends were waiting. They congratulated me on winning, but I told them I need a break, that my head kinda hurts. Then someone freaked and yelled that my head was bleeding freely. I thought he was joking and told him ha ha, really funny, and at that precise moment I felt something warm and sticky dripping from my head onto the ground.
I touched my head with my fingertips and found it was matted with thick blood. I was in shock, watching my 'red water cascade down my hair and splash onto the dry ground. Some kid finally called over a teacher, who made another one of my friends take me to the nurse. I was scared, because I thought I might die of blood loss, AS IT WAS COMING FROM MY HEAD. But the nurse applied pressure and sealed it, then later I had to get 5 stitches in my head.
Later, when they came out, if I spread my hair to the sides and looked near the middle, I could still and I can still see 2 tiny visible holes.
During that whole experience, I never once cried or anything. I guess I was just used to pain. That must make me so hardcore.
