I tryed to submit a mothers day flash, I worked very hard on it. But the scores started goning down! Then it got blamed.

Then some idiot tryed to steal it!!

So in conclusion, I submited the best flash ive ever made, it gets blamed for no good reason, it gets stolen and people hate it more.

I hate Newgrounds, I hate the Flash Portal, and I hate the stupid grounds gold thing.

I felt the same exact way when my first flash got blammed. But then I kept practicing, and within a couple months I had a flash that made the front page! So just keep working at it, man.

Don't let it get you down Wave, Newgrounds is comprised of children mostly, I wouldn't be surprised if you were only 14 - 15 yourself. Children are critical, but then again, so are audiences, especially if a work doesn't have a popular template or isn't up to par with what they've usually seen.
I recommend that you either:
A) Keep trying AND/OR
B) Just put some more time into your flash, polish it up, and then, if I am not mistaken I think that you can resubmit it. But take your time! Anything done well takes a buttload of time! :) The difference between Adam Philips and Other animators with good talent is that A) He spends more time then they do on his work, or has honing his skills and
B) He probably has a wacom graphire. lol
Great skills will take you somewhere, time will take you WAY farther, and Equipment ALWAYS helps alot, but if you are REALLY a hard worker, you can get amazing results with shit equipment.

me to i hate the portal, i submitted some private practice work, and it went to the portal.it got blammed. im never submitting again unless they tom makes a new way to submit.

well dude, i'd suggest to just practice on flash, and don't bother have your flashes get blammed. I had one flash before, VERY noobish, it was about three sticks (sticks...can u imagine how hopeless i was?), and now i look back to it, i think like: "Wow..if that would get saved i'd kill myself! I don't want this on my account!". So just keep practicing, and some day you'll regret you said this :P.

A) Luis, who is an amazing animator doesn't even use a drawing tablet. All mouse drawn.

B) Why would anyone who is serious about a tablet use a graphire? Graphire is the bottom of the line garbage.

But you can take his crap with a grain of salt - he said your flashed sucked, and he was right, and when he said try harder, it was in effect saying the same as me, you just need to spend more time. You were kind of right. Wacom is the company that makes tablets. They make a line called graphire. It's their low end, cheapy tablet though. Their "Intuis"(sp?) tablet is very nice though.
