Just to clarify, Jet Flash Radio was not a serious attempt at gaining any form of popularity in the Newgrounds community, or at getting any kind of recognition. Hell, I didn't expect it to work as well as it did, and I thought it would be blammed in 5 minutes.
It was a study into the mind of the average Newgrounds voter, the simple-minded creatures that they are, allowing external forces to pre-determine how they'll vote before viewing the movie/game. And today, I was going to change the SWF file to one of my own movies, since beyond this, there is no use for a blank, white screen.
I hope no one was genuinely upset by my little experiment, and if you were, well, screw off you tree-hugging hippie. And can someone direct me to a thread where I can read whatever was said by Wade upon deletion? I'm just curious, but I'm sleepy and just woke up.

I should also point out that I don't agree with it's deletion. There's no rule in the portal that goes against an empty SWF file, so deleting it just makes Wade seem like an ass. Sure, it may have taken the number 2 spot away from something that deserved it, but it still earned it, it's not like all I did was get other Clocks to vote five, 90% of the people who did vote so highly on it I didn't even know. The users chose their daily number 2, and you took it away from them Wade! Shame on you! I thought this was a democracy, but I should have known that ideal went out the window when you started monitoring users' voting patterns and banning them for it.

Nice prank, even though I didn't vote on that movie. Wish you did make that flash. "Jet Set Radio Future" was a pretty cool game.
I still liked that "FREE BRITNEY SPEARS PORN" prank, though. The funny part was reading all those n00b reviews.

i have no idea why it got blammed...the 3D graphics were awesome and the sound was high quality. I also liked the scene with the lightning effects...

It shouldn't have been deleted but it should have been removed from the top 5.
I think the the movie was an excellent example of blind voting by Newgrounds users.

I'm confused. What was it, and why did people vote highly?

Dingleberry made a 'Flash' that was just a renamed .mp3. He wrote that it was a remake of Jet Grind Radio, and sounded very believable. I saw it had a high score, and -nearly- voted 5 on it myself, before viewing it.
His friends (or a bunch of people who like to make semi-funny things be overdone quickly) started posting all sorts of reviews saying how they liked how the 'Flash' was, the graphics and whatnot.
So, people saw these, and before loading it up they voted 5, and just supported the joke more.
It was funny at first, but quickly got lame.
Nice.

I think the outcome was an EXCELLENT way to prove people are just clicking the numbers without even paying attention.
That's quite sad, and scary on top of it. What good is a reviewer if they aren't watching the flick? :(
