I need to convert my garageband song to mp3 format. I am using Mac OS 10.4. Any suggestions?

Garageband can only export as an aif to iTunes, but iTunes can convert it for you to mp3. Go to edit->preferences->advanced and look for import settings. Change it to mp3, then apple-click the song you want converting. The option "convert to mp3" should appear.

thats about it! youll have 2 of the same song, but you can submit and choose the mp3 one! i use garageband too!!!
