How many of you still play original Unreal Tournament??
I guess many of you have switched to UT2003 probably. But why? It's just better looking graphics, the old feeling is lost... Especially the Shockrifle ball!!!

I think the new shockrifle ball isn't that bad at all...
on the other hand I prefered the old sniper rifle - and the six - times rocket-grenade thrower :)

doesn't matter anyway for me... UT2003 wouldn't work... and for playing UT I would have to set the resolution so low, that I feel like running around in a bitmap. really sucks at lan partys... every got sniped down by a pixel???
yup... that's the reason why I work so much with flash (if I'm not hanging around on NG what I actually do ALL the time...)

a typical UT scenario:

"what's that?"
*zoomsin*
"oh, it's only a pixel..."
*getting shot*

that's why I love the rocketthrower... first shoot, than ask...
pixel blood... yay! software renderer... yay! resolution I don't remember anymore... something like 600x450... yay!

I agree. I still play the old one. The new graphics are cool to look at, but it all still boils down to adrenaline and accuracy.

But not so much anymore.
