Has eBaum been hurt?

After the creation of this flash as well as the Wikipedia article on eBaumsworld.com, how much has his web site been hurt, if it all?

Has the controversy actually increased his popularity or is the bad news actually getting him less hits per month?

Fans of YTMND.com, Newgrounds.com, SomethingAwful.com as well as many others have a deep resentment towards him, and in my opinion rightfully so.

My question is: does anyone know whether he is receiving less hits per month now that his scams have been made public?

If by public you mean to about 1/100000th of people who use the internet, then yes. People just don't care enough to actually not go to the website. People would much rather do what they want when they want on the net than follow some guideline that pancho set up.

hes actually gaining in popularity. You forget: more than 90% of all vistors to a flash site are people who don't care where the stuff came from and are just looking for a quick laugh. If you see someone on eBaums world and you say "OMG what r U doin! He Steal Flashes!!1!"
They will simply say "So?". That's it. They don't care.

yes it is, but the original post was that ebaums world will lose traffic. according to the google trends link i posted, in the past two years they have significantly increased. The get more hits a day, but its usually the same target audience which makes advertisers not as interested. NG>eBaums, but eBaums is certainly rising at a faster rate the NG.
they have 5.8mill view a day FP alone. NG has 1.7Mill. But NG has like 20k more unique visitors which has proven to be more effective advertising wise. That is how the internet works. Google Adbrite and have a quick look. You'll learn much.

Yeah, my question was whether or not eBaumsworld was suffering from bad publicity, not whehter or not Ebaumsworld was doing better than Newgrounds. Read the original post.

Oh boo hoo, who cares if Ebaums is being hurt? There are MILLIONS of sites who steal submissions. Some of them are actually successful. Noone cares. I even know some victims who don't care. Really, flash isn't all that big of a deal. You aren't gonna be making millions off a flash animation anytime soon.

i hate how ive spent the past hour proving that eBaums world is getting more hits than ever but has only had a slight decline recently. Then someone posts only reading the first post. Im surprised people who mod this site haven't shot themselves yet. i have new respect for them cuz they put up with people like you...
