Hey guys of the review request club.

I know you've doubt my work before, but let make show you one final movie to redeem myself. Let me show you for one last time that I do listen to my reviewers and I do respect you. I'd admit my old work wasn't all that good, and I was just learning, but after working hard for countless hours I finally bring you something i'm proud of. This is the last chapter of the season for this series. Let me tell you some improvements on the movie. THERE IS NO INTRO, NONE AT ALL. NO ANNOYING BORING INTRO. It just starts right away, it is exactly 3 minutes long. Full of intense action, better voice acting, great music that syncs with the movie. It's almost like a music video. Much better drawings and special effects and you will see that. Frame by Frame and more. I think this movie will change your mind about me, and I hope I can get back some of my old viewers who I upset. Please give this last movie a chance. If you think it is spam or crappy you can block me and never ever watch my movies again. If however you think it's acceptable, please give it a review i'd appreciate it. Please, please watch and review it. This is my last movie for the season. I can promise you it will be a vast improvement from my other movies, heck you won't even think I did it, but yeah it's all me. I'm sorry that I wasn't too nice to my reviewers. Please forgive me. I was arrogant and wrong.

Club updates
Each Sunday or Monday, Haggard or Shanus currently create a list of all the members, counting up their points, calculating various stats and posting a list of requested submissions. Assuming you review the submissions listed, you will get points for them on the following members' update, 6 or 7 days later.

On Thursday, Bezman currently creates a list of all requests and recommendations made up until then, since the previous thursday. This can be seen as a 'preview' of the list that will accompany the following members' update on Sunday/Monday. The points for these are tallied 10 days later.

Requests made between the 'preview list' and the 'members' update' carry over to the next preview list. So you will always have over 9 days to finish the reviews. (Feel free to review submissions as soon as they are requested!)

I don't know. It kinda seems like overkill.

Should I link to the club in my sig?
There's no obligation to do so, but it's certainly appreciated. Remember that you can put a high number in place of the page number in the url and if that page doesn't exist yet, NG will take you to the latest page, whatever it is.

then anyone following that link will always see the latest page.

I don't understand what recommendations are all about!
As mentioned under this section in each list, 'You may make a recommendation if you reviewed 100% of the previous weeks requests and recommendations. It should be over 3 days old and have under 50 reviews.'

As long as your name is on the last 'All requests completed' list, feel free to recommend something you've enjoyed from the portal.

You could use this to let us know about something you think is specially awesome, yet overlooked. If there aren't many game or movie requests, maybe you could make a recommendation so we have something to review.

Does the Review Request Club review stuff for non-NG stuff?
Short answer: no.

Long answer: Milinko used to include youtube requests in the list of requests, but the introduction of a points system didn't leave room for such things. You can request reviews here, but some of us may not have accounts on Myspace/Youtube/whatever or may simply be disinclined to review things outside NG. It wouldn't get nearly as much attention compared to if it were a NG submission.

I'd suggest putting songs on the AP, then making a request that way. It lets us give feedback whilst staying on our favourite site. ;-)

At clockday I submitted something, just like many others, but instead of a 3.6 - 4.2 score, my submission got frontpage (Thanks again, Tom), which really surprised me. That's why I'd like to request a review (Or reviews), to find out what people (some not) liked about it, and where I should improve :)

Did you see what was being said between myself and Bezman earlier this week? I was referring to your review style. Getting all of the reviews done in 2 hours isn't bad, per se, but you've shown that you're not putting quite enough detail into the pieces.

Have you looked at anyone elses reviews apart from mine? Or are you guys singling me out because I get all the reviews done quicker than you can? I'm putting as much detail as I can in... Im much younger than you guys and arent experienced with words or telling people what should be done etc. I see other peoples reviews and they are no better than mine...I'm not going to name names unless you want me to

Well, for pure example here, I put [Review Request Club] at the bottom of every review. It takes about 5 seconds to write, so it's not that great an effort, but that can help to get some publicity for the club.

As the points stand, you aren't writing 'Review Request Club' after a review, so you shouldn't be receiving the points for claiming it.

I think that you are right. For the next update, I will still give points for writing "RRC" underneath the review because it would be a bit unfair to not give any points without telling the reviewers beforehand. But the updates after that, I will only give points for "Review Request Club".
