Hey guys. I was just curious. I have completed the list of reviews 100% and I'm done, but can I still earn more points by reviewing random stuff, or should I wait till a new list or a request comes through? I'm not trying to cheat the review request system or anything, just want to help out some more.

You only get points for reviewing things on the list, but you can continue reviewing as much as you like. Just none of those reviews will count towards the Review Request Club points.

Yes, there is a new list every week. These days, Haggard puts up a new list every Sunday or Monday that is compiled from the submissions that were requested from the previous week. As soon as that list is posted, you have until the following Sunday to finsih it. There isn't an exact time you need to get it done by, but I wouldn't push it to any later than Sunday afternoon. ;)
Also, Bezman usually posts a list on Wed/Thurs. That is only a PREVIEW of the new list of requests that Haggard will post on Sunday. Bezman's list is not at all seperate from the main list. It's the same list as the main one that comes out on Sundays, just a preview of it.

You don't have to. As Corky said, you wont get anything as far as points for reviewing unrequested submissions. BUT putting Review Request Club in all your reviews is looked upon well, as it gets the club more exposure.

You don't need anything in your sig, text or banner. I personally link to the RRC via the text part of my sig. You can do that, or make a sig advertising this club, or nothing at all. Whatever you want. ;)

Nope, your good. Use the point post Haggard made on the previous page and tally up your points, then post them here. A new list should be up this week or later.

The current list for this week is posted by Haggard on page 170, as I linked to in my other post. If you're finished with those, the next thing you're going to want to do is post your points.
You get:

5 points for reviewing each movie/game
7 points for reviewing each audio
3 points for posting in this thread throughout the week.
and +1 point for each review you wrote "review request club" in.

add up your points using the key above and post your total.

It's been quite a long time since I made a flash (or posted in this thread), but here's my new one. Just as band and unamaginative as ever :P

Guys, with at least one entire page passing between my update and Haggard/Shanus's, I feel it'd be an idea to repost the rules at the top of each page. That way, folk could easily see how the club runs, whatever page they land on.

Maybe we should also mention the organisation of the updates (i.e. that Shanus/Haggard update the members list on Sunday/Monday and I do a request-list 'preview' on Thursday-ish?

- Post a direct link to the submission(s) you want reviewed.
- Make no more than 3 requests within one week.
- Do us a favour and respond to our reviews.

- Be patient. Due to the points system, you may not see reviews until up to two weeks after you request.

well, if you want to request a review or two, all you need to do is follow the rules, which I reposted above. You don't need to be a 'member' for that.

Conversely, if you want to join and start reviewing stuff request, that's also great - just make sure to let us know and follow the rules if you want to be included in the reviewers' list.
