I have a question I live on the west side of the U.S so should I post my points on saturday because you guys might be asleep if you live on the east and won't get it until the day after?

Guys l have a problem.....l've been banned for a negative review (but it wasn't abusive though) and l cannot write reviews for 3 days so l will tell you my points for now (and the next three days)

It's been a while since I posted here or submitted anything for that matter, let alone review songs.

However, I just released a new song that I'd like to get reviewed.

I'm gonna try something different with my reviews to make them more fun to do. If you guys notice any problems with my reviews, let me know.

Here's a question - I've long believe that as long as a review states the criticism foremost in my mind (and makes it specific enough so that it could be remedied), gives a bit of praise and an overall summary, it meets the minimum criteria for a review. Not the NG guidelines, mind - that's a step below - but my own 'personal' minimum.

Is there anything that I'm overlooking? Do you guys (specially the artists reading this) have any thoughts on what every review SHOULD have to be useful?

Heh, both of us upaters - Shanus and me - live in Europe, so we are a few hours ahead of you anyways. But Shanus tends to do his update on late Sunday (around 11PM GMT, I think) and I do it on Monday.
So if you post your points on early Sunday, you should be fine.
But as Bezman already said, if you've done with reviewing you can already post your points, if you want to. ;)

Hi you two, welcome on board! Start with reviewing the reqeusts Bezman posted on this page of the thread and tell us on the next Sunday (the 22nd) how many points you gathered.

Here's the list of points:
5 points for a review on a requested movie/game
7 points for a review on a requested audio
+1 point for putting "Review Request Club" at the bottom of a requested review
3 points for posting at least once throughout the week
5 points for referring a new member (must mention you in first post)
7 points for reviewing all requests for that week

Oh, and wegra? Please try to make your reviews a bit longer... right now it seems as if they are all just one liners. Tell the author what you liked and what you didn't like about his/her submisson and make suggestions how the author can improve.

I was wondering the same thing...Seems like a huge ammount to have done by Sunday. I was assuming all those reviews that were requested over the last few days would make up next week's list. I PM'd Shanus basically asking the same thing. Either way I'll both lists done by tomorrow. :P

Sorry guys. I forgot to update the date of when the list is to be done by.

That list is the list to be done for the 22nd/23rd of June - it's just a preview of Sunday's list to ensure everyone always gets 8 days to do their reviews.

Hi, welcome to the club. Start with reviewing the requests Shanus posted in his update post on page 154 (you have to scroll down, it's near the bottom of the page). You'll also find the rules and the points list there.
